I think they were just exhausted in the last game. Hopefully the break and being at home will motivate them to find their offense. Hopefully Bryz plays as great as he has been lately

Oh and the other clip you're referring to I remember quite well actually. It was after a Rangers game when I believe Stepan(?) scored with a deflection from about 10 feet wide of the net. Panaccio asked Bryz, "Could the defense have maybe done something more there?", Bryz: "Well he was already 10 feet wide, not much anyone could do.. just strange deflection", Panaccio: "Could they maybe have boxed him out further?" Bryz: "I guess?" (you're supposed to take this as "uhhh wtf Tim?, youre an idiot and im going to agree with you because you dont give me any other option")
Day after: "BRYZ THROWS DEFENSE UNDER THE BUS"
When are people going to realize that the Philly Media are mentally challenged and should write about the jersey shore cast members instead.
I did not say anything about what I felt on the matter... just a few threads ago was asked to find the video of Bryz 'criticizing' the defense, so did, as BP74 was slamming Briere for 'taking stuff out of the room', and BP74 then said (being consistent tbf), that Bryz shouldn't have done this either.
My personal feeling is both circumstances were blown out of proportion by the media, and neither were attempting to 'rag' on their teammates, but stating their feelings on how things were going, and steps to correct problems.
Everyone who plays sport to a certain level knows that teammates criticize each other, or encourage, depending on the circumstance and how the comment is taken by the individual, both in the game itself after an obvious bad play, or in the locker room later. The reason is that you and your teammates know when you made a mistake, and generally 'confer' about how you won't do the same again, in cases where the mistake was a big one.
I always found when teammates were willing to criticize, or offer pointers to each other, speak their mind, that the team trusted each other, and was never under any false pretenses about their own or others play.
Sometimes it is better for your teammates to say something than the coach, it harbours respect as well.
