Ehh... What happened...? I mean... the part of the rink that we can't see.

He just snapped with absolutely no apparent reason.

Yeah, I'd like to know what exactly caused it.

That was crazy.

That announcer is clearly auditioning for a job in the WWE.

He got an elbowing major in the midst of all that. I think his suspension will end up being bigger than it should simply because he's the toughest cat in the AHL. I didn't see the elbow, but aside from that I don't really see the need for a suspension based on what's shown in the video. Also, Greg Amadio has been in the middle of some crazy **** lately. He also partially instigated a pregame "mini brawl" about a week and a half ago against the Norfolk Admirals.

Unbelievable even 4 people couldn't stop him from throwing it down. If this guy comes to the KHL like the OP mentioned Vityaz is in for some serious pain.

Anyway others are losing their mind more often something must have pissed him off in a huge way otherwise he is not the type of guy doing that.

Maybe 2 games but I doubt its worth a suspension.

I like how both teams are standing at the benches in complete and utter shock. No chirping or anything, just pure "what the **** did we just see?"

Amandio (Springfield tough guy) went after Walker earlier in the game so when MacIntyre challenged him off the faceoff Amandio wouldn't answer the bell so Mac decided to just go after his teammates. I don't know too much about Amandio but he seems like a bit of a **** disturber and I guess Mac thought if he wasn't gonna answer the bell he was just gonna go after his teammates

Yeah, Amadio has a knack for being in the middle of things like this. I'm not sure why Mac would be that upset about him fighting Geoff Walker, Walker's not a HW or anything, but he's a big kid and he can fend for himself out there. Amadio is kind of a dbag, but he's nowhere close to being a complete sideshow like say, Louis Robitaille.

I went to a Sound Tigers game 2 years ago and the fans there HATED Louis Robitaille.

Has anyone ever said anything different about a goon with absolutely no hockey talent?

He was definitely the most hated player in minor league hockey for a long time. I always thought he was kind of pointless, if he drew a two minute penalty on the other team, he'd take four minutes himself. He'd drop the gloves and then just bury his head in the other player's chest and not attempt any offense. I think he just wanted to annoy the score keepers too.

Had I been listening to that announcer on the radio, I would have thought MacIntyre was beheading people out there. Hit mute and it's really not that bad. Clearly he lost his temper but the play by play guy was over dramatic.

Agreed. You used to see worse than this on a weekly basis in the NHL as recent as in the late 80s/early 90s.

I assume that's Ulf's kid out there wearing number 5 too?

22 seconds in he punched/shoved an official to the ice.

He should be suspended indefinitely, until he can prove that he is able to play hockey* with sufficient discipline to not intentionally injure other players and to never physically abuse an official.

*you can ignore everything after this asterisk because it's not gonna happen.
