I'm still afraid Buffalo will catch us that's why. If Buffalo wins, and Florida, and the Caps lose, and Winnipeg loses then I'm fine. Ottawa can lose too. I hate them the most out of all those teams behind us. However they have Montreal like 3 times this month, Toronto. They get a bunch of chumps before they have to face us. Montreal is the team everyone is passing around like a dirt magazine right now too.
To be honest I'm not complaining our schedule isn't easy. A lot of times the Devils fall asleep when facing the crappy bottom teams anyway. They USUALLY show up for the bad teams.
If anything I wish we had Buffalo, and Washington again. Just to put bumps in their road, and do the dirty work ourselves.

The Islanders are a better team than Colorado. Not a knock on the Islanders either. It's more of why don't the Islanders have 78 points right now, and Colorado does?
I also have a huge boner for Parrenteau, and Moulson too not gonna lie.
I like Stastny, Duchene, and Landeskog, but the rest I can't get say I care for.
Maybe it's because I been watching the Islanders for years, and follow them more closely though I used to follow Colorado closely.
Just like as long the Devils make it in I don't care if Carolina comes back from the dead to make it in! As long as they don't beat us.
I don't care if Colorado makes it in after our game with them is done. I just want Dallas to make it in! Nashville too!
Why are people hung up on Buffalo ? Irrelevant when it comes to us.
this is why. its an irrelevant team that had a flash a few years ago and fans showed up. but wow how that window closed quickly. the city is also one that is not one of a "hey, let's go visit buffalo!"

I always liked the Avs. I know this is pretty cliché on HF but Forsberg is my favorite non-devil of all time.
And Bleedred, the ISLANDERS? Really? The Islanders are a crap team that have been carried at times by John Tavares and Evgeny Nabokov. There is no depth on that team at all and guys like Bailey, Nielsen, Grabner, and Okposo aren't showing the improvement they should have by now. Colorado at least has a sizable amount of decent players, some with quite a lot of promise. They're definitely trending upward while the Isles are trending absolutely nowhere.
Sidenote: At first that was gonna be an argument for Colorado, but I let my Islanders hate come out and it became more of an anti-Isles paragraph. Oops.

The insults towards the Devils, the way they all of a sudden treated the city of LA like its Toronto or Montreal, how they pretended that team was not safely tucked away under the Lakers, the Lou/urinal thing, **** them all.
But come on, who ignores a night out with the LA Galaxy?

I honestly don`t get it. You hate the team? Fine. But those players are long gone.
There`s literally nothing to hate on that team at the moment. Location, jerseys, roster, prospects, semi-stupid management (some good moves lately) , fans.
