Well as long as we've got Brian "The Legend" Burke backing us up we're golden.

Didn't they change the rule this year or last anyway, stating that you can't play the body (or deliver checks) going into the boards on icing touch ups?

i thought that was always more of an "unwritten rule".

Pretty sure they made it an actual rule where a penalty would be assessed if a skater made a dangerous play on an opponent in an effort to touch the puck first. The goal was to minimize contact between players.

I will take a few close calls going to the defense over a few d-men every year breaking a leg.

All for it.

I hope if they do this, they do it in the AHL for a year first. Nothing worse than throwing a crappy rule change into the NHL without testing it.

No change. If a player doesn't want to get hit, he can pull up and let the other player touch the puck first. See how much ice time he gets after that.

No change - the system is fine as is in that regards.

Continue to allow two line passing. Helps keep the game open.

Do away with the shoot-outs. Horrible way to decide a winner

10 minute 4 on 4 OT would be perfect. If there's a tie after that, so be it. I never had a problem with a tie game.

No change. Please. We have to live with automatic icing in Norway and it sucks. I haven't really seen hybrid icing, but it sound silly.

Keept he shooutout too, but consider changing to a 3-2-1 point system.
