Any other player who ever wore a Sharks uniform should be in before Rathje. 6'-5" 240 and 5 career fights against the likes of Jeremy Roenick and Jamie Pushor. He got fighting majors aginst Simon and Chasse but never even threw a punch in either and got pummeled. Hands down the softest big guy ever in the league.
How about Jimmy Kyte? And Vernon in the net? He has over 250 PIMs. Stern only played 2 seasons with the Sharks so maybe slip Dody Wood in there.
John Ferguson - Newsy Lalonde - Maurice Richard
Shayne Corson - Doug Risebrough - Chris Nilan
Scott Thornton - Ryan White - Turner Stevenson
Donald Brashear - Todd Ewen - John Kordic
I personally think The Chief was the best pound for pound fighter of all time. He may be the only guy to beat Probert 3 times, and imagine if he were 6'3" 230 instead of 6'1" 205. I doubt he'd ever have lost. A ton of other guys who up there who were heavyweight champs and extremely feared. Can anybody top this? Boston? St. Louis?
If Berube was The Chief then you forgot Paul Laus knocking him out cold
Brad May - Rick Dudley - Rob Ray
Matt Barnaby - Danny Gare - Dave Schultz
Clark Gillies -Paul Gaustad - Kevin Maguire
Eric Boulton - Adam Mair - Brian Spencer
Larry Playfair - Gord Donnelly
Jim Schoenfeld - Bob Boughner
Jerry Korab - Jay Wells
Brian Curran
Steve Shields
Tom Barrasso

Make a place for Stewart in there he's a great fighter.
Oh god the habs can go down with anybody.
Left wing-Center-Right wing.
Lambert-Béliveau-Richard
Frank Mahovlich-Pete Mahovlich-Tremblay
Corson-Risebrough-Bonin
Nilan-Kordic-Ferguson
Chamberlain, Brashear, Odjick or Laraque scratched?
Agree with this line up. Didnt the wings have a pretty crazy enforcer on the team some time around Howe's time? Cant remember his name though.
Is there any team that can match the skill and toughness of this team? I dont know but I doubt it
Toughness, I think the Flyers and Bruins beat them, but skill wise, I don't think anybody. The Flyers send in Berube, Brown, and Brashear to crack a few skulls.

No fighter is invincible. But Berube was a middleweight size wise, and yet he was constantly beating some of the greatest enforcers of all time and he rarely lost.

Ryan White has been in 10 NHL fights with a record of 3 wins, 4 loses & 3 draws according to hockeyfights.com....he can't possibly be on a toughest of all time list..

I think that wings team can compete fight wise with anyone and it would be arguable who is tougher. Boston and Phillys teams would be the ones who it would be arguable with.
But for the balance of talent and toughness I dont think those teams are close really.
Gordie, Ted and Shanny are probably the best 3 skill wise any team has

I don't put Laraque, Stock, Vukota, Odjick, Cummins, Blouin, C Ferguson, C Murray, Asham, Staubitz, Roberge, Langdon and a bunch of other fighters. I was just looking for a center (that's why Risebrough is in my line-up too) and White is almost a rookie in the NHL, give him some time...
