Rinse-repeat next game.
This pretty much sums up the end of the Oilers' season.

Is it just me or does it seem like we NEVER have possession of the puck, always chasing.

I hope Gager doesn't expect a huge raise from his current contract. One huge game doesn't justify it.

What on earth was Smyth doing on the last rush? Tries to go in 1 on 4, gives up the puck, and keeps the play offside by exiting slowly.

Abysmal effort!

Im saying this now, this team goes absolutely nowhere until Horcoff is stripped of the C. Or to a lesser extent completely off the team.

If I was told that Shawn Horcoff was the captain of a random team, without a doubt id guarantee that team was one of the worst in the NHL. Our team is as good as our captain, absolutely horrible.

How can a player who sucks, lead by example? Its a joke.

I would think Hall will be captain within a few years. Can't come soon enough.

All I can say is wow that was bad.

Nice goals by Whitney and Hall though.

Veterans need to be brought out back and put out of our misery.

Sorry what was Omark given?
Did he get more than one pass this entire game?

I for one think its obvious when he gets sat in the third that enough is enough, 4 games is up time to send him throw waivers.
If the entire team can get away with lame ass play and omark gets called out for that. Its ridicilous, renney give your head a shake.

I notice the same too. Not enough players want the puck and can keep possession. Most shifts spent in the defensive zone, spend all energy recovering possession just in time to dump in and change. Repeat until RNH and / or Eberle get on the ice.

Whatever Potter did to earn that extension has most probably been erased now.

I look forward to Tambellini Somber Post-Season Press Conference V.3 this Spring.

The excuses should be rich. I hope that somebody brings up the fact that they've been healthy for much of this year.

"I don't like losing that way" - Captain Horcoff

There are ways he doesn't mind losing, but just not this way.

Petry was laying bodies out all night, then jumping right up into the play, i may be crazy but he could be molding into a #1 dman

Omark was a non factor tonight. If he's as good a player as he thinks he is, he has to impose his will once in awhile. So far he only looks like a complimentary player.

Nothing to see here. Just another struggling team waltzing into our building for an easy win. Move along.

Omark had more time than his linemates and even some d-men and did bupkis with it. The only things he accomplished today were a -1 and a penalty that led to the GWG. In fact he had the 5th most icetime among forwards.

Well I guess he got a shot on goal too.

This is a bad hockey team...no coach can remedy that.
