Can anyone identify this jersey by description (no pics of jersey)

I couldn't find any pictures, but will try to describe this.

Last night at the Sens game I saw a group of about a half dozen people wearing these jerseys. They were red a white and had a "diamond pattern" (like the picture below), and the names of the jersey looked German (don't remember any though)

Ive tried searching through most of the German ranks with a club who wears a diamond pattern jersey and none of them come to mind. I know of a club that has that pattern in their logo but not their jerseys. In fact, I dont know any club (atleast from the top leagues) in that region who wear that pattern.

Perhaps there is a chance you could give a little more detail? Anything else of note that would help?

Send a message via Skype™ to ozo
"Looked German" could indicate Austrian or Swiss surname too, I guess.

No, the pattern was smaller and covered the whole jersey

Could have been fans of the Herner EV, playing 4th tier hockey in the Regionalliga West in Germany:

I am Croatian, the checkers you show are in diamond format. The checkers that Croats have are squared.

You can obv see the differ between the pics you posted.

If it is not the diamond team shown above and you say it has checkers... maybe its a team in the Czech league
