Oddsmakers recognize how much better the Blues are than Chicago right now.

STL -130 tonight in Chicago. I can't remember the last time that happened.

The Hawks haven't been home dogs the entire season.

Perspective of recent STL odds again other West contenders on the road:

@NASH 2/4 - +100
@NASH 2/23 - +110
@VAN 3/1 - +145

Blues are a much better team and I expect them to win. We shall see.

I really hope they wait to interview Jaden until the second intermission. I've been wondering all day what injury Dr. Rick will be breaking down in the first intermission.

Blues are only ~ -105 at pinny. With Toews in the lineup, Chicago would be around -110 or -115, but it's still a lot of respect for the St. Louis team.

It's never an injury that pertains to an injured Blue...So it's essentially worthless lol.

I hate that stupid segment, it's a lame attempt at advertising, and if that.

The blackhawks are not a walk in the park. Looking for this to be a very good game but I still say blues come out on top 4 - 2

Blues - Stew - Osh - Perron x2

Hawks - Hossa - Kane

ABraddy1230 if you would like to talk/tweet during the game and intermissions!

I agree. I think this will be a competitive game, and I would not be surprised at all if it's played a bit faster, and a bit more wide open, than the Blues would prefer.

With that said, not having Toews is a huge blow to overcome. Their center position is in shambles right now, and that flaw is ripe for exposure against the Blues' centers in what's clearly a terrible matchup for them.

IMO, the keys for the Blues will be pressuring the Chicago defense, and applying backside pressure against Chicago's top 6. If the Blues can effectively do one of the two, they'll probably walk away with at least a point from this game. If they can do both, I like their chances of winning in regulation.

Agreed, the blues have done very well at those 2 things all year long, no reason to stop now. I think with playing them as much as we have they have a pretty good idea on what they need to do to come away with a win. LGB!

Sure, Toewes is out, but the Blackhawks are at home and were embarrassed against the Blues last game. We're going to get their top effort, and anything less than the Blues on their game is going to be a tough game to win. I'll be very pleased to snag 2 points tonight, even if its an ugly game or whatever.

We'll see if the Blues show the maturity to have a refocus after the wins vs Columbus, which were both sub-par games. Or are they satisfied with the 4 points even when they're playing marginally (for them). Tonight will answer that and say a lot about the mental state of the team as a unit.

If Halak lets in a goal in the first shot, I'm deleting your post before it does anymore damage.

A desperate, 'hawks team that remembers the spanking from last time these two teams met has me a bit concerned.

Is it bad that most games I worry about if the goalie is gonna get a shutout rather than if the Blues will win?

After being a diehard fan coming out of the lock-out, having to deal with crap from people, it would be nice for this club to set some records. Jennings, lowest goals allowed in an 82 game season, most combined shut-outs in a season in franchise history, first team since 2003 Devils to win President's trophy without having a 60+ point player, ya know, something to be able to tell people that don't know about hockey that, "this isn't just a good team, its a great team."

3-2 Chicago

Chicago's playoff spot is not safe, teams are right behind them and I think the Blackhawks will come out hard tonight.

This has been as entertaining a season of Blues hockey as I can remember.

I would trade all that for a Cup, though. I want to see the Blues win a Cup in the worst way.

How come P9's hasn't broken out the Blues record on caucus/primary nights? Or is that so two months ago?

I have now officially been up for 54 of the last 60 hours.

This had better be one laid-back GDT, I'll tell you what.
