Better Offensively: Dubinsky vs. Hagelin

Will Hagelin be better offensively than Dubinsky?

Or do you guys think Dubinsky is, and will be, better offensively than Hagelin?

i think there isnt enough of a sample size on hagelin, and dubinsky is just having a pretty bad year. we all know dubinsky is a lot better than this.

I think that ultimately they'll top out at about the same level of offensive ability.

As a rookie, Hagelin has already shown a level of offensive consistency that Dubi has yet to show. Too many highs and lows in Dubi's game.

hard to tell. Hagelin is playing really well, and Dubi is clearly fighting it. Start of last season, Dubi woulda ran away with this poll 99.9 to .1

Sample size.

If last year's Dubinsky ever returns, I think he'll edge an average year of Hagelin's average production. We'll see though, Calle looks great.

This team could be so much better with Dubinsky last year production. Should he be reunited with Caly and Ani?

Well Dubinsky has 205 career points to Hagelin's 33, so it's clearly him, right?

Yeah it's the Swedish nickname for Carl. Like Calle Johansson, Calle Jarnkrok, etc.

hagelin is clearly the faster skater, but duinsky is better with carrying the puck, cycling down low and also shooting the puck. Duby has had his share of snipes in his career so far. I don't think hagelin has as good of a shot as duby. I voted for duby but in a few years, hagelin could certainly edge him

Hagelin.

I see much more skill there. With room for improvement.

Dubinsky is what he is. imo

I had to check the date of this thread. I thought it may have been from pre-season bc Hagelin looks muchore gifted offensively than Dubinsky.

Im one of Dubi's biggest supporters, however Hagelin to me seem like he has the higher ceiling in terms of Offense.

Not saying overall that Hagelin is the better player. But...I think the speed, instints and hands will provide a little more offensive punch than Brando.

What is surprising is that even thou Calle is the one with the speed, Dubi is the one duetting his goals from amazing one man drives

Hagelin's more talented imo, no doubt about that, but Dubinsky is extremely effective when he's on. I'd like to see more out of both of them. Hagelin for now just based on skill.

I think they can both be 60 point players. But they're different kinds of players.

Definitely has a better goal scoring touch. Not as good a play maker. To early to tell with Hagelin though. looks like a 20 goal 50 point guy already. But the sample size is just too small. He has also had stretches of disappearing. But really great start.

People just gush over Adam Henrique but they have had very comparable rookie seasons and I don't think Hagelin has looked like he has overachieved at all. If anything he has looked like he has a good amount of room before he hits his ceiling. Henrique may be a year younger but also has a year of pro experience under him which has in fact helped season him.

Dub has a lot left in the tank still, trying to get it out of him; but this isn't even close!

This is hillarious..How arer you going to ask this question..Dubinsky been a pro for 4 or 5 years.....and this is Hagelins first season as a pro,he didnt even start the season to begin with.

Why dont we wait to ask this question.Obvioulsey at the moment Hagelin looks better....AT THE MOMENT.Give him another couple seasons ad lets see what he does.

Although with Callahan,Stepan and Hagelin(possibly) looking to be studs, this makes Dubinsky expendable which is good all depending.i really dont wanna give up 100% oin him,i do like Dubi.

Hagelin will be an offensive force for many year, whether thats 50 points or 70. Dubi should be able to pot 50 points in a season also but Hagelin seems to sniff the net better and will score more because of it, while Dubi might add more toughness. I like the lineup with Hags and Zucc in the lineup, even Mitchell it adds some offensive creativity, with 3 guys that are all willing to get dirty which is key. I hope Zucc sticks around i really think even though hes not getting on the score sheat, he is an asset out there.
