Chaz Schilens and Brandon Lloyd expected to visit SF today. Hopefully Lloyd isn't the Brandon Lloyd of old....
I wonder what Lloyd's relationship with Alex Smith was when he was here...I know he and Nolan clashed, but I don't know about him and Alex. If they had a good relationship then it might be possible...

Or maybe the Kings are just one of the worst teams in basketball? Maybe.
Oh god, Vassa....
Big difference between NHL and NFL draft picks though. Usually 1st rounders in the NFL are ready to be impact players even star as they enter the league. NHL players sans maybe the top 5 still need seasoning for the most part. 3 1sts is a hefty price to pay for anyone.
Ellis, and an emerging Udoh for a guy who has not played a full season since his rookie year, and Captain F***in Jack.
On the surface it looks horrible.
However, if this team now tanks and actually gets their top 7 pick, Bogut comes back healthy next year and somehow stays healthy, and Curry stays healthy that team would be a lock for the playoffs. I would even argue they could challenge for the #4 spot.
David Lee will flourish with a big man getting boards for him. He is not a guy that likes to bang bodies, and will be one of the biggest benefactors from the trade. The W's need to find a bigger #2 who can play alongside Curry and defend the best player on the other team every night. Wright is going to get a lot more open 3 looks with an inside game going through Bogut as well, because there are just that many more options for the offense.
This could be the new beginning the Warriors are looking for, or it could be an epic collapse. The part I hate is that it mainly hinges on them losing this year, and getting guys healthy.

Curry
Klay
(Harrison Barnes)
Lee
Bogut
Also looks like a legit, well built starting 5. Skill, scoring, and -size-... Though that team is still a bit soft defensively sans Bogut, though a C can make a defense look better than it actually is.
Curry and Ellis were never going to work, and pure points are harder to find than combo guards. Warriors made the right move in shipping Ellis instead of Curry.

Yup the starting 5 looks real solid. Their depth is a little questionable, but they can go pick up a guy or two in free agency. Once they get Stack Jack and Biedrins off the books they are gonna have a big chunk of change to throw around too. Unfortunately it is a few years off, and I still can't believe management used their amnesty on Bell. Reminiscent of the Raul era. I wouldn't be surprised to see them try and move Jackson right away either. Biedrins unfortunately is not movable.
I agree on the defensive part, which is why I want them to get a guy who can guard any team's #1 player every night. Doesn't have to get points, just has to be awesome defensively.
I also think Curry is the right one to keep, but I worry about his health. Injuries scare me, because you never know how serious they are. It looks like Bogut and Curry's injuries are more of the freak injury type, but the Warriors have a history of bad luck when it comes to injuries, and I would hate to see it continue.

It's nice to be right every now and again. I guess a broken clock is right twice a day...

The coach's agent, Warren LeGarie, told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that the parting was "a mutual decision" because D'Antoni and the franchise have "conflicting views of the Knicks' future."
They beat the Warriors with Ellis and Udoh earlier in the season. It was obvious in their play that they didn't match Oakland's intensity.
Warriors aren't great by any stretch of the imagination, either.
Um, so? 'Gratz?
lol, I never said the Warriors were great. I know they aren't a good team. That's why I don't go around declaring they will "destroy" an opponent. That's foolish.

They had just traded their best player and one of their few bigs who could defend. I expected them to be very deflated and play flat. But it was obvious the Kings were that team.
