Hitmen hit a brick wall yesterday vs Brandon. It didn't sound like the Hitmen had the same jump as they had in game # 2. Brandon bullied them a bit and got away with it, without getting penalties. Calgary on the other had put themselves into penalty trouble and Brandon scored their first PP goals of the series.
Calgary needs to rebound for game #4. They need to put on their work boots and push back.
No mention on whether Sylvester or Rask will be playing yet.

Surprised Virtanen hasn't done much. I thought he would throw Brandon off guard and pot a couple this series.

He had a break away in game # 3, but didn't score. I've listened to the series on the radio and haven't heard his name called much. Not sure what his ice time is like. He is a big strong kid with nice hands.
Hitmen need somebody to step up tonight and carry the load.
Spokane Chief defenseman Brenden Kichton has completed surgery for a broken jaw and will miss the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old was struck with a puck at the beginning of the third period of game one in Vancouver and missed game two. He remained in Vancouver to await surgery as the team travelled back to Spokane. Kichton is expected to be cleared to travel by mid-week and will return to his hometown of Spruce Grove, Alberta.
Musil broke his wrist in January, and played through it for a bit. Had to get surgery on it though; could barely sign autographs, and he's out for the rest of the season.
