Kaberle Sitting Out Tonight (Girlfriend in Labour)

What do you think of this? The Montreal Canadiens have a proud and rich French tradition and a big part of French tradition is the Catholic Church. Kaberle having kids out of wedlock are not the kind of values I expect the Canadiens to be promoting, and certainly not the values I want MY children to see from their idols. Does he have a place on this team?

God bless Les Habitants! Go Habs Go!!!

LOL the fact that he's even bothering to actually show up to the hospital probably means he has more morals than half of guys in the NHL.

Also, if 1 of your kids idols is Kaberle he should reevaluate things.

Hate to break this to you, but you're looking at the world through rose colored glasses. Nowadays, having kids out of wedlock is practically the norm rather than the exception. And with the divorce rate at around 60%, most kids end up growing up in broken homes anyway.

The days of people getting married at 21 and staying married for 50 or 60 years are over. This ain't our parents' world anymore.

Being you gave the only serious response to this OP I read, and agreed with you up until you used this antiquated term.

Children have no choice in marital matters, they adapt to the choices and the environment around them. They should be never exposed to the idea their home is "broken".

Or "dysfunctional", another judgemental term.

BTW Lukas Kaberle was born this morning.
