This is all because I took a vacation and BOOM... that back stabbing Markov returns and we start getting points on the board! I might just go buy a Markov jersey just so I can wipe myself with it and burn it all up in the woods!

The worst part is we all know he's going to miss exactly 70 % of the year next year, but his 30% will be just enough to get us to 9th place...

Back to topic, I swear I'm done with HF if we win!
Well this is an easy for me. Pushing for a habs win all the way tonight.

Apparently we're wearing white tonight. It's the Sens 20 yrs anniversary. We don't want to spoil it, one more reason to let them win

I can't believe people actually want the team to lose and are mad about them winning. It's called sportsmanship fellas. You don't play to lose, that is one of the first lessons anyone learns in life.

you just proven that you are the type of fan that seeks personal goals over what is best for the team!

Tonight is when everyone cheers for a loss even if it means that I disappear!

Reading the other "loser team" boards, the NHL must change this race to the bottom garbage

Just throw the 14 non-playoff team names in a hat and pull them out one-by-one on draft day.

Rewarding crappy play is just wrong.

THEY play for sportsmanship, we have the right to want a better chance at drafting a true superstar.

You have the right to do whatever you want. In my opinion, it's just plain silly to root for your team to lose. Sure, there are benefits with the current way the league is arranged, higher draft picks hold more value, but I could never cheer against my team, that's just me.

Look we don't want the Habs to play to lose, but we want them to lose, is that so hard to understand?

Look at the Sens last year, they sucked the whole year, but then they went on a run at the end of the year. So instead of finishing 29th overall, they ended up 26th.

Result, instead of drafting sure fire NHL stars Landeskog or Huberdeau, they ended up with Zibanejad. Tell me you wouldn't want Huberdeau instead of Zibanejad?

Tanking means playing to lose... so at least stop using that term, it's confusing...

I definately want a high pick. But I love watching the guys learn to play tight games and learn to win or steal points.

I see another tight game. the key to this one is to keep the OTT shot total down. Let the younsters get more quality ice time. At least they are willing to play up tempo.

GO HABS! Try and aim for .500 the rest of the way (which is WAYYYY better than what they have done so far)

Same here.

The "tank" word is the ugliest and dumbest word used on this board.

It's a fan word.

I'm not actually suggesting professional players tank the season but at this point in the season it's logical for us as fans to hope the Habs finish as low as possible as to have the best draft position possible.

It's much better for the franchise in the long run.
