If you think Dale Hunter is the reason the Caps are in 8th, you really ARE delusional.

Meh. I think Hunter is pretty clueless--you could say the same about Lindy. His team finishes, though, even if they dig themselves a hole first.

aside from having better 1st line talent, you'd be hard pressed to make a serious case about the rest of washington's roster being better then buffalo's... (on paper)

hunter and ruff are both ****** coaches... atleast hunter is a fresh voice, that is connecting and motivating.

ruff's been saying the same **** to the same guys on the same team with the same problems...

Bills blog reported that he didn't appear to be in attendance.

Thanks... With so much information coming from so many different places, it's hard to find some stuff... The Bills message board is a nightmare right now...

So did Foligno get the hat trick or not? sure looked like he got a piece of it from my seat, can't find a video of the goal yet.

They announced at the game .... Sulzer got it. Foligno just screened.

I definitely agreed with you.
His $4m could have been used to add multiple additional depth pieces that would have made us a more complete team, but instead we opted to keep him as insurance, which never made sense to me.

Instead of waiving Boyes though (that would have been a little too extreme and would have looked terrible), we should have just flipped him for anything, whether it's a depth player, pick, or reclamation project.
Teams that lacked offense in their top six probably would have taken a look though simply because of his history.

Can't wait until he's gone.

I know they announced it, but it looked like it took changed direction, thought they might look at it and chance it Foligno.

It deflected off the Avalanche player's stick, not Foligno's.

They both have big salaries and are useless outside of a shoot out but Boyes makes the extra million
