Schenn without a doubt. Hodgson is older and more developed and played very easy minutes in Vancouver padding his stats. He's done nothing in buffalo with top 6 minutes. Schenn is much more physical and a better 2 way prospect.
Generally speaking the same people who berate the kid, also can't name more than 10 players on our team.
Have you ever walked around Granville after a win? I use the word "fan" carefully these days.
EDIT: GDT threads back in the Canucks section are a little less blatant. Sometimes I swear there are Canucks "fans" trollin' the main boards without actually watching games.
Fair enough but you have to agree 99% is a bit harsh? I hope the kid has a stellar career, no hard feelings here!
BS. He has been excellent in both zones the last 4 or 5 games, even being rewarded with PK time. Getting a ton of ice time.
That's false. And I never stated about the O zone. Just his defensive zone where he has still been a problem. Essentially why he's bounced all around the lineup.

(and I voted Hodgson)
He stopped getting bounced around once Foligno got called up and Ruff settled on the lines. He's playing with Vanek for gods sake.
Ruff is also giving him PK time. If you know about Lindy Ruff, you know that his leash for poor defensive-zone play (especially for forwards) is about three inches long.
Cody has been very good in his own zone since he settled in with Tropp and Vanek.
It's close, both are going to be good top 6 centers for a long time. Schenn has the edge in speed, defensive play and physicality, but I prefer Hodgson's offensive game, he's just so smart with the puck, so well rounded, skilled and patient offensively. I think Hodgson is going to mature into a legit #1 center, while I think Schenn will be more of a good #2. Both very good young players, but if forced to choose, give me CoHo.
