Just curious if anybody had a chance to see Emil Djuse a d-man from the div.1 club Östersund. His numbers strikes me as pretty good for a d-man (10 points in 8 games) and he is a late born 1993, so he is eligble this year.
He just had a 5-point night with 1+4. Maybe a new Edler
Ok I continue this very onesided Emil Djuse update, now he has (1+12) in 10 games, and a whopping +15 in plus/minus. Guess nobody watches the obscure div.1 B, but if anybody do I would like to know how he looks . Still think it's impressive to have a bit over ppg as a drafteligble defenseman in div.1.
I've seen some games, and sure his talented. Dominated the U-18's last season. Was involved with Sundsvall earlier this season i believe. Here's a link about it: http://www.ostersundik.com/nyheter/110816.html
Djuse is considered a very bright prospect, he's been training with Sundsvall during their preseason, and also considered playing with Färjestads J20 this season, but wanted to stay.
I go to pretty much every homegame and it's nice to see the occasional talent show up.
During the game when he was hit, the St.Louis Blues had their european scout in z-hallen to watch mr Djuse. So yep, he's showing a lot of promise
Liveevil, have you seen any Brunflo games this season?
Nah, I try to go to ÖIK (Östersund) games in div. 1, that is enough for me with kids, work and all other stuff. The 2 games I have seen Djuse this season I can say that he got potential for sure, the guy is young.
Emi Djuse now have 25 points in 19 games, considering how many games theres left of this season he will have no problem beating the record for most points all-time by a junior d-man in division 1. He is also in top-5 in scoring for d-men in the entire division 1. That's pretty decent for a draft eligble player even if division 1B is far from the strongest division.
He is 6'00' not 5'10'' that eliteprospect.com has him listed as.

btw, Håkan Andersson the Detroit Red Wings european scout was at a game two weeks ago.
Last time he was here there was a bright kid playing his name was Alexander Edler
Looks like he´s continuing to put up points, anyone know if he can he play defense as well? Don´t really know anything about the level of play in Division 1, in what round could he be picked in the draft?
