That's part of the fun though! It makes me laugh. Their offensive horses can't do anything against us, so they just get mad at us for playing a certain style of hockey.

Don't the Blues play the same style, and they are #1 in the whole league?

Well!!! A tie at 2 is better than being down by 2 after 1 period.

All teams play a trap style shutdown system at some point during a game. Even the mighty Canucks.

I have. I used to live in Vancouver. Canuck fans are a completely different breed of fan. Most have never played hockey and few have ever actually attended a Canuck game live. All have expert opinions though that 99% of the time is the exact same opinion as the radio and/or tv commentators. Few have a unique perspective. It was aggravating at times.

Great first period. Still not liking the teams scoring first.

Especially with Colorado winning today. We need to win this game.

The upside is that it's a brand new game.

The downside is that in brand new games, the Coyotes tend to give up the first goal.

Why is it that we are always off sides and when they are clearly off sides, nothing is called?

Smith with a nice save off that turnover. But other than that, this period the Canucks are making it pretty easy on Smith lol.

Well, BLAKEY BOY and the JETS did you guys a huge favor tonight.

Here's hoping the Coyotes can take advantage and close the gap on the Stars. That #3 seed would be great to have.

That was great by Torres to create that goal.

Ekman-Larsson's now tied with Yandle for goals I think.
