I have a streak going of just under 12 years without getting physically sick.

I can guarantee that if anyone else wins the lottery, I will be sick.

So if this Edmonton lead holds, there is a 10 point difference with 12 games left for each team, including the fourth and final meeting of the series.

With schedules considered for both teams, does this seal up the No. 30 spot for Columbus, or do you think the Jackets can still play out of it?

I'm all for winning first and foremost, don't get me wrong.

But let's be reality... Given that losing is more of an advantage to us than winning, that means Columbus may find a way to screw up a 2-0 deficit.

Vintage Wiz right there. Weak cross ice pass, picked off for an odd man rush, get back in the play but don't actually play defense.

Lucky that guy missed the net...

As it pertains to magic numbers, it's not my place to speculate. I'm a reporter, not a columnist.

I don't know that it seals up 30th, but it'll make it awfully close to being sealed up.

Assembling a roster in Columbus must be like trying to stuff a fat lady into stretch pants. Once we get one problem taken care of, another one pops out.

P.S. You're welcome for THAT visual!

Everyone would suck with Aaron Johnson.
He looked asleep though. Like the whole team.
