Is that too "stalkery"?
I'm pretty sure Asham has a daughter.

James Neal in particular will be a well of sorrows if Paul Martin gets traded because there will be no more eggs for breakfast.
the trade thing was sort of an after thought to provide more of a reason than "understanding how off ice chemistry effects on ice chemistry" It really doesn't apply much to the pens anyway... but I sort of lost interest. (with the subject in general and specifically for the pens

SOmetimes when Asham has his hair pulled up, he reminds me of a grown-up, overweight, hideously unattractive Cindy Lou Who from Who-ville in The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

Also, I have it on good authority that Staal and MAF are quite close. Close enough that they shared the same German girl I know that is over here on a soccer scholarship and such. Randomly met her a couple weekends ago, the Penguins came up (I am not religious, so I just try spread the gospel of Penguinism everywhere I go) and she said she had hooked up with both of them. I found it humorous because they seem like such different kinds of dudes. I picture MAF wanting emo franchophone gals from Quebec and Staal...well, I don't know.

The point is, everyone likes gorgeous German women.

Also, anyone think it was weird when the Aves encased Sakic's locker in glass? lol.

Pretty sure Fleury is married. Not that it always matters to athletes but he doesn't strike me as someone who'd be like that. Plus, girl could be full of ****.

I've actually never wore a jersey with anyone's name on it aside from my own. Sort of for the same reason Dan Barr said. It's weird for me.

My ex-gf would always call my friends gay for wearing Sid/Geno jerseys. I do have a man-crush on Staal though, so if I ever do buy one with a name, it'll be his.

I don't think it's gay to wear a jersey with a players name and number on it as long as you're only wearing it to the game.

What I do find gay is autograph hunters. I am not really into having a guy (or girl even) write his name on something for me. Reminds me of an old John Mellencamp interview I once saw. He said it was weird when he started getting famous and everyone wanted his autograph. He said "you could have it last year when I was installed your telephone and it was on your work order and you wouldn't have cared".

Well, some of my better friends are gay so I'm never one to use that word in a derogatory manner. But I just always found it funny when my ex would blatantly call them gay for wearing them.

Yeah, I shouldn't have used the word gay. It's not the "gay" part of it that bothers me... Like I said up there, I feel the same way about "hetero" combinations of jersey and wearer.

Haha. The reason I don't wear jerseys has nothing to do with sexual orientation.

Wanted to throw that out there before a token PC police comes rolling through to lambaste everyone on how non-PC they are, and how we should be ashamed.

Yeah, I agree with Dan Barr. I've never felt inclined to wear a jersey with a player's name on the back either...

I've only ever worn my few jerseys (old Hatcher, a Lemieux, a Crosby) to a game. I just would feel weird wearing it around. I have hoodies and such if I want to show off my love of the Pens in daily life.

I'm certain all the guys have to take turns playing D&D with Crosby.

I can tell you guys that I own several Rugby jerseys and not one of them has a player's number on them - we Aussies tend not to go for that.

Alright...sorry to be the party pooper but I'm locking this up. Although nobody means it to be offensive, calling things gay has been one of those topics discussed by the powers that be. It's something that leads to offensive posts and not allowed.

I'd say take some of this talk to the ot thread.
