30!!! Can't believe I just entered the 30's today. I don't feel like it at all. I have quite a bit of like experience, though.

Anyone have any advice?

Enjoy them. They go by quickly!

Really, the 30's aren't bad. To watch the media, you'd think that after 25 your life is pretty much over. But too much of the 20's are spent figuring out who you are, worrying about what other people think about you, and trying to save up enough money to go out on Friday night.

The 30's are more stable. You (usually) have more money, you (usually) have learned not to care so much about what others think, and you (usually) have a pretty good idea who you are. I think my 30's were much more enjoyable than my 20's. My 20's were filled with uncertainty and instability. Not that it's not fun to have that, sometimes - but there's a lot to be said for knowing where you'll be living next year and who you'll be living with!

I arrested a lady and commented about how we were both turning 30 and said you are? I asked how old she thought I was and she commented on how she works with 40 year olds. OUCH!! Waffle has seen me. Do I really look that old??

Word!! 30's better than 20's. 40's significantly better than 30's (IMO). Beyond that, we'll see............

I'm still in the early part of the 40's - and yes, I'd agree. The kids are a little older, I've got a little more free time, a little more disposable income.

I just started playing hockey 2 months ago. My first tournament is Memorial Day weekend. I'm playing in a women's league and an adult D-league. When I started playing at 40, I'm pretty sure my husband thought I was crazy. Really, what on earth are you going to do with it, picking up a sport at that age?

I told him that I could probably get a good 20 years of enjoyment out of it, if I chose to do so. When I did speedskating, one of the guys I practiced with sometimes was 80. And he could still kick my butt when he had a mind to do so. I'm not deluding myself, I am never going to be an amazing player with NHL dreams. Age and gender are against me on that count. But I can have fun, I can challenge myself to learn a new skill, and I'm glad I didn't listen to him. If I started playing at age 40, at age 60 I would be a 60-year old woman who has been playing hockey for 20 years. And if I didn't start playing at age 40, I would be a 60-year old woman who wishes she had started playing 20 years ago!

So enjoy your 30's, 40's, and everything else. Don't let people tell you what you can or can't do, or what you should or shouldn't be doing. At 30 you've got enough experience to have a pretty good idea of what's important to you, and you can follow your heart a little more.

You arrested a lady and expected her to flatter your youthful looks?

You saw the "arrested" part too? I thought I was imagining things. Did she try to flirt her way out of it?

Would you have arrested her if she had been wearing a Doan jersey, or had been waving white pompoms?

An officer is supposed to be willing to arrest anyone, even if it is their own mother.

As long as that officer's mother is a poor minority, I don't think it'd be an issue.

EDIT: To clarify, I'm saying the cops unfairly target the poor and non-white. I'm not saying the poor or the non-white deserve the extra scrutiny.

That's a tough one. I just want a win and a trick from Doan. I'd that too much to ask for?

Me too.

The more important question: what if it were the ginger woman behind Tippett?

If she broke the law, I have no choice.

Haha. Too late. I have a few pockets of grey hairs. My hair stylist said they were birth marks, but they grow. She must have wanted a bigger tip!

For someone who rarely plays, he has a really large following. I see more Doan shirts than anyone else, but quite a few Biznasty ones. I think there are a lot of non-Coyotes fans who are Biznasty fans.

Just out of curiosity I wanted to post this here and see what PHX fans thought of it.

Duchene for Yandle & Hanzal

How much would Colorado need to add if the value isn't close? (Not exactly that aware of Hanzal's value all I know is that hes a checking demon/3rd line center)

Colorado needs a top pairing LH defender and from what I can see PHX needs more offense especially down the middle. It's looking like OEL is passing up Yandle so it makes me wonder if with Rundblad coming up you guys could afford the trade. Same with Colorado and their centers.

Don't flame me to hard if you don't like it but from the outside looking in it fits both teams needs.
