Rangers Even Strength Points Leaders

Here are the points scored by each Ranger per hour of even strength ice time.

I did this because in the Carl Hagelin thread I looked at his score in comparison to all other rookies (he scorches them in this category). I'm not really a stats guy and think they're a bit bogus sometimes, but this graph is quite interesting:

So what you're saying is Woywitka is our best PMD?

I find it interesting that Anisimov is higher than Stepan.

The major thing from this in my view is that Dubinksy is not that far off pace of the 2nd line given his limited minutes.

The 2nd line has been weakened all season, precisely because Dubinsky has continued to fail to be a viable option there. Their production could be higher, considering Richards' track record if they had a sufficient top six option at LW, instead of a rookie and a 3rd line center. Thus, Dubinsky's production itself is not impressive.

Good post. It is an interesting season with Dubinsky. Many are not happy with his season and that is understandable. However, given his role and the 3rd line ice time with no power play minutes it is almost impossible to have a good season statistically.

Last year Dubinsky received a lot more power play minutes and it showed in his statistics.

This is actually a good sign for the depth of this team if a player the caliber of Dubinsky is playing mostly on the 3rd line
