I'm not convinced even Silfverberg would be an instant boost, and certainly not Zibanejad or Filatov.
If there were to be major injury troubles, I may like the idea, but just let Silfverberg play Worlds, Zibanejad shoot pucks at Auld after practice and Filatov stay in Russia.
He was put on his CSKA's MHL clear day roster. Was never demoted.
Murray says he is coming back too Ottawa for next year to play for a spot
Actually, he's been playing in the MHL since CSKA was eliminated from the playoffs.
RE: your question... one, no. Two, why would Filatov get top line time when he hasn't done enough to warrant fourth-line time? Three, you don't win in the playoffs with a lineup full of finesse guys -- the Canucks from last year showed that.

I DON'T WANT TO TAKE FOR EXAMPLE THE LA SPARKS
Well considering Filatov never provided any offence when he was here and how Silfverberg has no NHL experience, I can't see how this wouldn't put us over the top and make us clear favorites for the cup.

You do know Filatov averaged 4 to 6 mins a night in those 9 games right ?
No one said clear favorites it's all for playoff experience ..
I'd leave Zibby and Filatov, Zibby hasnt show himself quite as ready, Filly hasn't shown he deserves playoff time with this club... yet. Silfverberg Would be a good addition though, he can score, he can play both ends, and he can do it all very well. I'm fairly confident with Ottawa's chances as it stands right now against any team in the east except maybe Pittsburgh, but Ottawa hasn't truly been tested against them recently. That confidence (even if homerish) leads me to want Ottawa to not tinker too much with this lineup (if it ain't broke). As long as Silfverberg can work hard and buy into the Stache's system, which we all think he will, then he'd be a great asset to this team.

Adding speed skill doesn't hurt at all ..
Filatov was handed an opportunity to play with Spezza through training camp and the first couple of games of the year. He was useless and quickly demoted to the fourth line, where he showed nothing.
Speed and skill is great. Production is better. This teams fans should know better than almost any that a skilled team that isn't combative won't win anything. Filatov harkens back to those days. Heck, at least our old cream puffs produced in the regular season. Filatov cant even manage that. His best hope is to come back next season and try again.
Zibanejad and Silfverberg are big hopes for the future but I'm not sure they are better options than what we have now. Zibanejad didnt light up the NHL at the start of the year or when he was in the SEL. He's developing.
Silfverberg is more interesting. I would like to see him get a shot at a game or two. That said, I doubt he's a big improvement. He's another kid and will probably also need some time.
You're putting way too much into draft status. What matters is the players they are today and how they would compete at the NHL level.
Silfverberg is done for the year and can come over. Can Zibanejad?
I spent 20 minutes looking up the MHL website and trying to translate it.
Filatov has played one game so far. They lost. He scored one goal. They lost 5-2. He was even on the +/-.
