I recall a lot of people wanting the Sabres to draft him/trade up to draft him in the '04 draft. He went a pick ahead of Stafford. I thought that guy had a lot of potential.
Looks like he just kind of faded away.
It wasn't concussions that derailed the kid... just no hockey sense. All the tools and no idea that they were even tools, let alone a tool box.

I have to say, seeing Grabovski get into it with Neil... that took more sack than almost every Sabre forward. I guess between him and Connolly chucking the mitts, Burke's getting his truculence, right?
Caps don't even have a shot on goal 15 mins in. But I'm sure there are some posters around here who think they're playing really well and we have zero shot of catching them.

Washington is pathetic. They have Detroit, Philly, and Winnipeg for their next three.... It's conceivable they could only pick up a point or two from those games.
And the Caps get to play a rested Red Wing squad in Detroit tomorrow night.
They've gotta be sitting at home licking their chops right now. With Datsyuk returning last night (and scoring) and with how well Philly is playing, Washington is going to have a tough time getting points in those games.
I feel like Washington is most dangerous down two or three. They decide to start playing with effort, and when they get momentum they can be tough to slow down. It's too bad (for them) it takes so much to get them to actually try.
As expected, the KHL was able to bend it's own rules:
Quote:
SlavaMalamud Radulov and Salavat appear to have reached a deal allowing A-Rad to leave for Nashville now. Salavat to keep his KHL rights (Sport-Express)
SlavaMalamud Sport-Express reports Radulov's talks w/ KHL, Salavat are over. He'll fly to Ufa tomorrow, most likely leave for Nashville later this week.
Wow, Nashville is filthy now. What a fantastic move to get him back over in America for the playoffs.
As for Washington.... Geez, they looked so bored tonight, like the game didn't even matter. Hopefully they look the same when we play them in a week or so.
