RNH

I honestly think he'll end up better than Hall, Eberle, or whoever else we draft this year (even if it's Yak).

While that is true, Seguin I feel will be the better goal scorer in the future. Nuge will be putting up 35-65-100 at his peak in his prime, while I see Seguin being a 40-50-90 guy at his peak in his prime.

You really can't pick a wrong answer in this poll as far as I am concerned. In terms of playing styles they are apples and oranges, but they are both going to be studs.

It is like making someone pick between Datsyuk and Stamkos

PS- I obviously homer voted Seguin.

Funny how everyone laughed when most scouts said they would take Nuge over Seguin.

+1. I think he has really set the tone this year after playing average of 5-10 min the last year, the guy has a great motor, explosive speed, size and solid defensive prowess to be a great # 1 C. They are not going to be that far apart in the play-making abilities as they will be in the goal-scoring department.

It certainly will be very close but I had prefer Seguin as I think he is or will be the more complete offensive player and slight better defensively as the #1 C when it's all said and done.

Once Vancouver fans start voting on this thread, it will be a landslide for Hopkins.
Their combined love for their provincial prodigy and their hate for their stanley cup opponent will shoot this poll to a 1000:1 ratio.

The better question is, why is a Leaf fan starting what he knows is going to be a complete trollfest between the Oilers and Bruins, which will likely end up with a bevy of Vancouver vans voting for RNH, followed by the rogue Bruins fan saying "LOLZ thankz for Hamilton and Seguin TML! LOLZ!" And Leaf fans then responding with their famous "youre going to have three 1st overall picks in a row" ;ines.

Stupid poll that has been done at least 5 times this year, and completely depends on whos hot and who is cold.

Seguin would be playing center if the Bruins didn't have Bergeron and Krejci already and will most assuredly play center exclusively in the near future.

Shockingly I'm apparently one of the few on this site who don't watch hockey teams from both sides of the continent play every night, so I'll go with the kid who I've seen play 100 times over the last two years over RNH who I've watched a grand total of twice.

Hall can play center too, but is more effective on the wing.. How do we know Seguin isnt the same way?

What?

Seguin played center in junior. Hall did not.

Seguin was drafted as a center. Hall wasn't.

Seguin can't just "play" center, he's a center playing wing because he has two 70-point guys ahead of him right now.

Hall played half of his draft year at center.
