Ugh. So awfully unprofessional.

The only acceptable reason for an announcer to use a player's first name is with Vancouver for the Sedins. It makes it worse that they use nicknames.
You are young, you never got the pleasure of hearing Jiggs Mcdonald say - "Denny...to Brian...to Michael....score !

EVERY time the Rangers played the Isles back then.

This is one of the many reason why Chico is the worst color man in sports.

I'm not really worried about tonight. I think the key is to try and stay out of the box as much as possible. The Pens can throw out a PP unit of Crosby, Malkin, Neal, Kunitz and Letang. Pretty lethal.

If we could play a hard, physical, disciplined game we will be fine.

Hopefully Gabs, Richie and Haggy stay hot. Some scoring from our other lines would be nice as well.

An 8 point cushion would feel damn good. LETS GO BOYS!

Torts should use guerrilla warfare and psyschological weapons / tactics.

Throw Scott on the ice and give him plenty of TOI.

I forgot to look at the CI schedule before I left the house this morning and, I swear, I almost broke a chair when I first saw NBCSN in the GDT title.

If this game goes the way I expect it to, I probably won't be watching either broadcast beyond the 1st period.

That's because Malkin is better than Crysby.

Definitely a big game and should be a big momentum boost for either team. Really looking forward to it.

Go Pens!

How would it be a momenum boost for the pens? They are playing against a terrible goalie, and we are missing key players.

Yea really tough game.

Trying to keep my expectations in check. That being said, I would love to see us burst these ****ers' bubbles by ending their streak and spoiling Crosby's return. I know in the long run we need to keep our top guys' minutes down, but McD, Girardi, and Staal will all need to log major ice time tonight to keep the Pen(ise)s at bay.

As much as you guys hate Steigerwald, most Pens fans hate him just as much. I usually watch other feeds with the opposition's broadcasters if I can find them.

Hatin' on Mike Lange is a whole other issue. I get if opponent's fans aren't down with his goal calls, but his play-by-play is top-notch. His knowledge of every player in the game is spot on, and his memory of plays from 30 years ago is remarkable.

I can deal with a loss as long as the refs dont try and take center stage.

Amen to this man! Refs are not supposed to play a role in the outcome of a game, the players are!

It would be a great time for Dubi to get his head out of his ass and start earning his contract.

We've been saying this all season.

I just want to sweep this year under the rug and worry about next year's.

This is how I feel.

However, it's not a big momentum boost if the PenRefs win. But imagine how big of a mental boost it would be to the Rangers if they win somehow.

It's possible that the Pens come in and stink up the joint. It's not likely.

Our most likely chance of winning is the top line goes nuts again and MAF puts in a bad performance.

Us scoring goals isn't nearly as large a problem as stopping them from scoring goals.

Malkin is going to run Biron out of the building.

In Marty we trust. He's going to be ready to go for this one and I'm really rooting for him too.

Hit them hard, hit them often. I bet the boys are lickin their chops to get at these Pens.

They're playing ridiculous hockey, they have everyone back.

We're missing key players and are just getting over a rough stretch.

Our mettle is really being tested here.

LETS GO RANGERS!!
