This is such a recurring theme. Hosed the first few periods of the game, and then given PPs on a silver platter late to 'even' things up.

Of course the way this game has been going, maybe even having a 5 on 3 earlier on Stamkos getting tripped wouldn't have salvaged it.

Can't say we didn't have our chances. Clark shots one off the post and Reimer makes an amazing save on Purcells one-timer.

Leafs got 2 points, we got none, and Roli played really well. I thought we all agreed before the game we didn't want it to end like that.

Dinger's upset. Says if he was on the ice when Stammer and Phaneuf were going at it he might go over take a suspension. Didn't like Stammer having to be the alone one that went to fight Phaneuf.

Downie definitely stood up for the both of them, which is one of the reasons I was a fan of that line when it was working.

That's really the only deadline trade I still have issue with. He's also tearing it up for the Avs, looking really good there.

Was kinda impressed with Ashton as much as I saw him play. Time will tell, but I'm still not sure about that trade.....He might have just kicked it up a notch because he was playing us though.
