Hmm let's see, the sharks are gaining (somewhat) momentum with White and Handzus out, 3 out of 4 points in their last two. If McLellan puts them back in...

Snog: 3-2 Sharks
Couture, Pavs, Burns
Weber, AK

No. Noone can shoot on that line. Swap Couture/Pavs with Marleau and Clowe with anyone.

Here's how they're lining up at the a.m. skate for the #sjsharks: 39-19-8, 29-12-9, 34-18-17 and 37-69-78.

Patty can shoot. Also the Marleau/Havlat combo actually created stuff off the rush (Exhibit A and B) and it can only help to have a varied attack.

I don't like Couture-Joe-Joe. Too slow...I feel that Thornton will end up connecting with one of them while the other becomes a black hole offensively.

Winnik-Moore-Mitchell has been playing well. But I would not be opposed to moving one of those guys to the fourth line, moving Clowe to the third line, and then moving Galliardi up to the second line. Galliarid, Marleau, Havlat is a fast line that has everything.

the top line will create off the cycle so im not too worried about it.

Yikes, two pics on one page. This one was necessary, though.

Patty shoots at the goalie's chest. At least lately.

I tend to agree with this, however I suspect that might be the point. If chemistry develops between Joe & X, then Y can be shifted down to provide more pop on a lower line. Assuming that player Y isn't doing the dirty work and help create the opportunities.

I also really like you idea of moving Clowe down to the third line as it gives them a legitimate goal scoring threat and should create mis-matches for him.

TJ or Mitchell on the the second line would make it very fast and give a second faceoff option.

I like Couture with Havlat. I'd like to see:

57-19-8
37-39-9
34-12-29
69-17-10

I want to see a McGinn-Patty-Havlat line.
