Political Discussion - "on-topic & unmoderated"Rated PG13, unmoderated but threads must stay on topic - that means you can flame each other all you want as long as it's legal
I didn't find it either. They must not have put it in the Powerpoint report for some reason.
I'm actually surprised that this poll was done over the phone. That leads to social desirability bias. We would have more accurate results if this was done online or on a paper survey.
On page 10, the second to last item shows 92% say it's never acceptable to physically assault if they do something to cause anger - by implication, the other 8% say it can be acceptable.

If by play on words you actually mean bovine scatology you are correct.
No, that would be correct.
The survey question was likely asked thusly: "would you say it is always, often, rarely, or never acceptable to do each of the following...?", and 92% answered never. Therefore, the other 8% answered always/often/rarely - which means they believe it's acceptable, at least under certain circumstances.

That's not at all the same as "Okay if angry." That is "okay under certain circumstances, not necessarily just because you're angry."
You don't know what the other 8% answered. It isn't stated. You are guessing. They may well have said not sure. Or always, hammer them every morning. Or a mix of many different answers.

If Leger are the professionals that I know them for in the market research industry, I'm pretty sure they've set up that question as I indicated above, or something along those lines (it could have also been a yes/no question).

It could have been anything. You are projecting your own ideas onto what was asked, how it was asked, how the poll was designed, what answers were available. All of it.
There are certainly questions in that presentation where "agree" and "disagree" don't add up to 100%, so it's conceivable that the number is not actually 8%.

"Do you think it is not ok to hit women when they don't not do anything to not make you not angry?" Yes/No.

Well, it's your prerogative if you wish to believe that I don't know what I'm talking about, but again, I know the Leger company at a professional level, and I have a pretty good idea how they have done this.

Only if they provided a "don't know/no answer" as an option (very unlikely), or if they didn't percentage out of those who answered the question (again, very unlikely).
