When are these western conference teams going to learn that if you hit the eastern conference teams your going to get a penalty.. With the exception of Boston and Philly..

The Blues transition play leaves a lot to be desired right now. Weak support, bad angles.

Somehow, I doubt that the league is biased towards Carolina, of all the places.

That doesn't rule out bias against the Blues though. I'm kidding of course.

Perron was our worst player that period. Two weak plays at our blueline that led to possession changes, and invisible otherwise. Backes has more in him to give offensively than he's showing right now...I'd like to see it.

We look like we forgot how to work together effectively. Lots of running around.

I agree. Stewart and Porter seemed to be the only offense honestly moving their feet. That makes me cry a little!

Backes seemed really bobble legged... not sure footed like normal. Anyone else pick up on his skating?

Reaves looked like he was skating with a mission of hitting someone real hard!

Agreed. Definitely not a five man unit right now, and we haven't been for a little while.

Gotta give Carolina some credit for working hard in this one. They're playing a strong game, skating hard, working hard. Ward looks sharp, as does Elliott.

Stewart did have a few strong shifts out there. Definitely seems motivated to play against his brother. Bad turnover by Perron in his own zone.

Stewart always looks good against Carolina and Colorado for obvious reasons. Wish he would turn it on like that all the time. Not trying to turn it into something negative, but it seems like there's some motivation or maybe confidence issues there.

This is not a novel... try again. I expect more from you end of period reports!

A face pace, but not a good pace for this Blues team. They don't need to get in a track race with Carolina like they did that period. Get back to the way they were winning, ugly ways.

Elliott was very good in that period. Stewart looked good though I think he should have shot on the PP when he was right there in the middle and tried to make a pass to McDonald back door.

Berglund has been very involved this game.

It's been awhile since I've seen Oshie and Backes look dangerous in the offensive zone at ES on a regular basis.

Lazy back-check led to a 3-on-2 that had no business developing.

McDonald's been moved up to the first line, and Perron down to the second.
