1st in the Northeast!!
The Sens were the better team but didn't really play smart. Lots of flubbed passes and shots on blockers. They need to fake their shots more to throw off the blockers and goalie and get passes and shots for tips instead of straight on.

They said Condra touched it after Smith. 1 Assist +2 is still a good game though.

No, he didn't. It bounched off the Habs defenseman and Condra totally whiffed it. (I'm pretty sure)

Oh well. Not a big deal. EK's awesome even if he gets no point. He looked like the only one "dangerous" on the ice...

I have a bad feeling about tomorrow's game against Toronto. Hopefully, this team proves me wrong.

Which they awarded Condra the primary assist, with Smith the 2nd assist. At least on NHL.com.

I keep refreshing the standings to see Ottawa in 2nd, but whoever updates that website is sure taking their time.

Good job on D by the team tonight though. Habs only had 3 shots in the 2nd and 3 in the 3rd period, and not many dangerous chances.

that was one of the strangest games we've had in a while.

how the hell do you go 0 for 9 on the PP?

also:
sens get 3/4 points
habs get 3/4 useless points

I looked at those replay's about 5 times now, no-way Condra touched the puck.

Anyway, great win guy's. It wasn't pretty, but it counts.

The turning point in the game was me calling out the MS Paint for underachieving.

2nd in the East and we'd still have to play Boston. Wtf man.

Oh well, however temporary this may be, it's cool to say we were 1st in the NE for atleast a day.

So basically either the Sens win the division and play Boston, or Sens squeak into the playoffs in 7th and play...Boston?

So here is hoping the Bishop can hold down the fort for the Toronto/New Jersey games and then maybe they'll have Anderson back for the next Montreal game on the 23rd.

Be awesome to get Anderson back and have him play lights out to lead Ottawa into the post season secured in the second spot.

Ya never know this injury could've given him some much needed rest after playing basically every game this season.
