Allaire asked Reimer to "Just be himself for the game." (In other words, follow what he knows than what Allaire taught).

No wonder he almost got a shutout.

Really sucks that these games don't mean much, but I'm glad that Reimer played great, I really do hope he continues to do well.

Also Gardiner is siiiiiiick! What a sweet play, not a bad bank pass from Lombardi either. Too bad he didn't make those smart plays earlier in the season. He's going to be the Boyd Devereaux of this season. Do it Lombo, score a hat trick. I dare you.

Back on Gardiner, is everyone a bit excited about the prospect of signing Justin Schultz this summer? That pairing would be spectacular. Seriously, if they say that Schultz is even better than Gardiner... he might be our Karlsson.

I believe its just form this article:

Quote:
“Just do what he knows to do,” Allaire explained to TSN.ca prior to the game against Tampa. “He is in the NHL for one reason because he's got the skill. You don't win the lottery and be in the NHL. You earn your spot in the NHL. So he earned it. He knows what to do. He knows what's going on. He stopped million, million, million of pucks since he's a young kid so he has just to relax and let his body go and not over-analyze because sometimes you can be paralyzed by over-[analyzing].”

That quote translated into "don't listen to a word I've ever said".

You would think Grabo was the one who said that with how bad some of his English is.

Is this the start of our annual winning streak to finish off the season and ruin a great draft position?

What does Schultz have to do with the Leafs?

Depends on which veteran you're talking about. Even then, expect Reimer/Gustavsson next year.

Brent Johnson or Marty Biron would be good choices and would be available for cheap

BAD Reimer, BAD! Doesn't he know about the draft position! Hope he doesn't carry the team on a late run.

How did Phaneuf get two roughing penalties at the end of last night's game? What a load of BS! His hit on St. Louis was clean, and he got into half a fight with Stamkos. Yeesh.
