ok.. Färjestad.

Out
Dick Axelsson will head off to Detroit.
Mattias Sjögren is expected to head off to NHL/KHL
Salak is heading to Chicago
Prestberg is going to Leksand, everything is done execpt the signing from what I hear.
Kåberg is probably going to Örebro (It's going to be tough to see him leave)
Jonas Junland is heading to KHL from what I've heard. He did not get a new contract proposal from Färjestad.
Anton Grundel will probably not get a new contract, he has not taken that final step and same goes for Markus Karlsson.

IN
Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel is the new goalie and will be accounced after the playoffs
Magnus Nygren has a verbal agreement that they will put on paper after the playoffs
Christopher Nihlstorp has a new contract that is going to be signed after the playoffs.
Marius Holtet has also agreed to a new contract
Fabian Brunnström is the hardest one to get a good source about but it looks like he's heading to Karlstad next season.

The Maybes
Per Åslund.. Atleast two other clubs than Färjestad is in the mix, or atleast was in the mix pre the Linus Videll signing. The clubs are Brynäs and AIK.

It's now official that Nihlstorp has signed with Färjestad. Both Nihlstorp and Thomas Rundqvist says in this Swedish news article.
http://hockey.expressen.se/elitserie...na-i-farjestad

Also, Patric Nemeth from AIK has signed with Dallas Star and is removed from the AIK depth chart. It's a three year contract and topp ELC for a rookie.

I doubt there will be so many players leaving for KHL. They now have limit with only 5 foreigners per team(last year it was 6).
Junland has a good chance in St. Louis.

I missed that Färjestad also signed Joakim Hillding as a replacement for Mattias Sjögren who seems be heading to the NHL/AHL.

Sörensen and Rask to SAIK? Every talent wants to come to us right now Now lets get Öhman over here too and kick-start his career once again

Edit: Brynäs also in the loop for Rask.

Can't find any links that confirms the rumour. I'll add them as soon as I find one.

AB wrote about Sörensen y-day: http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportblade...cle12878512.ab

the roumors about Rask is from local-papers. And from an interview on hockeysverige.se Where he says he respect the clubs wish not to go out with confirmation yet, and why should Brynäs want to keep it a secret when they have not played for a month?

OT: There should be a Silly-thread to write random rumours.

Simon Löf should be on Brynäs roster. It's of course possible that he will be on a loan to Allsvenskan again. I think he looked really good in the Mora, so I believe he have a real chance to play in SEL next season

Timrå really needs a GOOD defender. Petr Caslava would be nice. He was awesome.
Also, a new kimmo kapanen. Not just 2 second goalies... Tho forwards looks really nice.

You have forgotten one of Timrås deffenders, Mat Robinson.

If this is not the appropriate thread please feel free to delete.....

It appears there is a rumor that Mattias Sjogren may be signing in the NHL. I understand the Columbus Blue Jackets are one possible destination. Is there any update on his move from SEL to the NHL and what type of player is he? top 6 skill? ready for NA game? Good on faceoffs? Better at C or W? Thank you

I have also had a high level of interest in Carl Soderberg who I believe played for Malmo this season. Is he still property of the Bruins? Any idea if he ever plans to come to the NHL? Seems like a high skill guy and I'd like to see him play in NA.

Thank you

Sjögren, better as center.
Ready for NA game
Pretty good at faceoffs
Not a topp 6 guy for NHL.

Söderberg vill, as you see in the chart above play for Linköping next season.
He will not play in the NHL

Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel and Niklas Czarnecki was presented by Färjestads BK today at a pressconference. P-W as the backupgoalie for next season and Czarnecki as the new coach.

How are you liking the Czarnecki signing, KC? I seem to remember the Färjestad crowd showing animosity towards that piece of news during the quarterfinals.

I think the morons that showed the signed shamed themselfs.

I like the signing. He took Brynäs and put a good defensive mark on the team and then started to work with the offensive. I like that he seems to be a much better matchcoach then Samuelsson that doesent hesitate to bench players even if their names and paycheck is bigger than the person getting extra icetime. That was Samuelssons biggest problem in my opinion.

I also like that Czarnecki in the interviews I've seen has focused on what I think has been Färjestads biggest problem the last couple of years.. The speed..

We'll see how he adjust to the club but I think it's a very good fit.

Anton Grundel has signed today as well and then our D is complete with 9 signed. Erik Thorell also signed his first senior contract today.

Foppa has chopped his first head as VD over Modo when Challe Berglund got fired today after Modos horrible season.

Also Brynäs signed LW/C Mats Lavander. Lavander that's played for Luleå the last couple of seasons. With that it looks like Silfverberg could be lost.

John Klingberg signed with Jokerit. Can someone give info about him? He got tall really quick so 186cm and 78kg? worries me a little bit but he is still young to gain mass.

How does he react when game gets physical?

He wanted to come to SM-Liiga cause it's more close to NHL style game than Elitserien.

He can get pushed around really easily. In the J20 playoffs, a 5'6" forward on the other team knocked him over a bunch of times. He's not scared of the rough going, just really needs to bulk up.
