Very happy with the win and well-earned. A good effort from all lines.

i do not think after this season, the Flaming Flamers will dominate us like they did for a long while. It feels sensational to beat the Flames, better than morning s ex...well almost better

Opinions vary, Hall was off balance and falling (go figure) and Sarich clocked him, I thought Sarich took a run at him.

Go to hell John Shannon. It is very obvious that Sarich's elbow to Hall's head was the primary contact point.

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The 1 game remaining where I wanted the Oilers to go all out and get a regulation win. Absolutely love beating Calgary. Despise that team so much and I hope they miss the playoffs by 1 point.

Eberle and RNH were amazing tonight. So lucky to have that kid. There isn't a forward that I would rather have in Alberta at this time then #14. I thought Potter made some really good defensive plays tonight but Schultz is so damn good defensively. No panic, gets the puck out and is efficient. I would take him 10/10 times over Gilbert.

Finally, I said in the gamethread after the 1st that plays died on Hemsky's stick early on. Well Ales showing heart in the 3rd and looking better made up for it. Nice to see he cares and kudos to him on that.

Feels great beating the most hated team in the league and to play spoiler. Yeah Oilers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now we all remember why we were so high on Harski.

Ebs & RNH were great tonight. Everyone was good actually.

Hall will be right. So glad we got the W! A winning streak v the flames!!

Even if Hall did not slip, he would have been clocked by Sarich probably knocking Hall's chin/head/face area anyway. Sarich was coming in fast and he knew Hall had his head down (like he usually does) so the end result could have been the same or worse...

Sarich was running around all night. Sad to see that he left the game without any punishment.

Whatever, nice win. Looks like Sarich and the Flames didn't win that 3rd period like he claimed they would.

Hall will be fine. *Fingers Crossed*
Looks like Galchenyuk got hurt tonight as well.

At least we made it a little bit tougher to make the playoffs, it somewhat makes up for Hall's injury (consolation prize i guess). Just hope its not his eggs that got scrambled.

And just like that we have more points than last year! How many more points are people expecting? If we hit 73, or 5 more wins, I'd be ok with it in terms of progress, obviously 80 points would be much better, which was my expectation going into the season.

Dubnyk played.....I don't know. He made some good saves but I lack any confidence in him to be honest. It's sad actually - he seems to be in that awkward spot where he's not a starter but also not a backup....

No argument here, I agree. It was borderline charging and you are right, he saw Hall in a vulnerable position and was going to punish him.

gutless response by the oilers to sarich, who continued to run around all game and almost clipped smids knee later in the game

Eberle now 10th in league scoring, and 8th in goals.

Nuge 1 point behind the rookie point lead.

This is why the instigater rule has to go. Concusions are up, I wonder why.

when you are battling for the #2 or #3 draft pick this late in the season there should be little concern about getting an instigator penalty

I guarantee the loss hurts the flames more, although it is not as satisfying as a Sarich beatdown.

How about denying the Flames a playoff spot?

So with 63 pts, they are at least guaranteed to be better then the last 2 years.

I am worrying that this may be the last game of the year for Hall. What a bummer if he also misses the World Championship.

RNH got 2 goals but no assist. Give him an unsung assist on Eberle game winner too, ran a pick to free Eberle from a check allowing him to get into shooting position. He made the pick look so innocent too as he kept his feet moving and just picked his target off at the right moment when Eberle start turning towards the middle.

RNH hockey sense is just wonderful, he knew exactly what he was doing on that play.

I agree. We have to answer the bell and send a message for the future. We cannot let players like Sarich take liberties with our star players if so, we have to punish back!!!!!! I really don't care if it was 2 goal lead, the Oilers have to take that chance and send a message back. What happen to the team toughness mentality?

I'm all for the tank, but the boots must be put to Calgary every time as far as I'm concerned.
