Yup. It was a good night for the kid.
That's nothing. . . Landeskog refills the gatorade between periods, and does maintenance on the zamboni.

Honestly, who gives a **** about the Flames? We're not in a playoff spot and I'd rather our players get out healthy and instead beat up some of their players.

No, it's better to re-introduce two-line offsides and allow obstruction to slow the game the down instead.

So you're happy with the Flames winning. Got it.

The Leafs could catch the Oilers.

Mowzie???
Hemsky and Gagner were the Oilers best forwards on the ice again?

Would be cool to hear from people who were at the game, probably felt like a playoff game with how high the emotions were.

The schedule shows teams that are better then Calgary. The Oilers are most likely going to be in the 2nd position when the season is done.

what value does that have for the oilers?

what did they gain, not what did the flames lose?

they won because eberle and rnh are all world talent and proved that you can run our stars and teammates into the ground and we can maybe win sometimes anyways - whoopee

that hit and reaction (halls rigid arms) was one of the worst i've seen this year - he could be ****ed for along time

It wasn't like the team played intimidated, what bell didn't get answered. Whitney dropped his gloves and there was a response. Taking a run at Iggy or Tanguay is not a smart or warranted response and does not belong in hockey.

So I suppose losing helps them, right?

If you watched the game, Sarich was challenged and skated away like a pansy.

Dubnyk was good tonight. He was square to the shooters, made big saves in close, and was playing at the top of his crease on shots outside the high slot. It took a circus tip from Ladi to beat him.

If he plays like that every night he is easily a number one goalie.

Tom Renney, king of turn the other cheek.

At least Ebs and Nuge made the flames pay in the standings.

Okay you guys are looking too much into this Hall thing.

First, it's no scientific mystery but actually being closer to the ground when he got hit is probably a good thing, as he did not build up momentum with the aid of gravity. Second, he was moving orthogonal to the check, which that the change in momentum from start to end was not as high as if he were going straight (delta p causes concussions).

However, he did the arm thing, which is generally a sign of a concussion.

Obviously, I am not a doctor, and Hall could be out for a few games just to be safe. However, this wasn't as serious as some of y'all are making it out to be (I hope and think).

I'd much rather have the Flames lose then someone jump Sarich, get a 5 minute penalty and have the Flames beat the Oilers. If the Sarich hit was dirty, I would agree with you. It was a clean hit and Whitney went after him.

How many times has Hall almost been killed in the past few years? I love him but he needs to keep his head up. It seems he gets drilled every 5-10 games.

Anyways, Flames lost and that is what matters! Haha stupid Flames!

A lot of things have changed since the Bertuzzi incident, watch more MMA to satisfy that bloodlust.

I guess we know why Sutton did play much in the 2nd/3rd. Renney was trying to prevent one of the Flames players from getting steamrolled.

What a pussi

He doesnt seem to get run as much this year. I noticed, as with every Taylor Hall thread, someone posts like 12 videos of him getting demolished. I also noticed most of them were from last year.

at this stage and point results should be second to execution - a solid team effort and well played loss can have more value than having half the team play like a bunch of turkey ninny's

sarich should not have had a choice
