I've suggested this in the past too and I pray for that scene to happen. But really when I pray for it, Brown isn't the 1st person to touch the cup

Is there a highlight/video of this "best move" ?

Yes, a thousand times YES. He's just bad at interviews. He never gets players to say anything interesting, and most of the time, he phrases questions so that the player just says "yes, I agree with whatever you just said."

I have nothing personal against the guy, and I'd love to have his job. He's still pretty much crap at interviews.

I think that would be weird. Like a bad omen for a non-player to lift the Cup.

non-players hold the cup every time the Stanley Cup is won. The T.V. coverage never lasts long enough to see it, but coaches, trainers, administration staff, injured players, etc...

Besides, who cares if it is weird? I don't care if it makes anyone uncomfortable, the man deserves to hold the cup. If we fail to get him one before he retires, it will be the greatest failure this organization has ever seen.

Bernier usually plays well vs Nashville, hopefully he does tmrw. Also, anyone notice Kopitar's been shooting and scoring alot more since the Dionne comments? I hope I don't jinx it, but I'm just saying

Under both coaches, we are very very responsible, However, the back end confidence in moving with the forwards is so visible under Sutter.
As we the fans may not like Sutter's media communicating, he is doing it right where it counts.
Carter Richards as a 2nd unit really throws a wrench into opponents defense. Consequently, this helps Kopitars line.
Go Kings. Start Bernier tomorrow!
The system has changed. It took longer than it should have, but adding carter certainly speeded up the process. Probably would have happened faster with new assistants, but it appears to be working better.

We’ve changed some things up, system-wise, so it’s adapting to that, getting a little more aggressive, and making my reads quicker,” added Martinez. “Hesitation, in this game, leads to mistakes, and goals against. It’s just being comfortable in the system, getting on pucks early, getting on guys early. That’s definitely helped out a lot.
Murray'a system was much more passive. It allowed other teams more time with the puck to make plays. Sutter wants more pressure all over the ice. It looks like the players are getting more comfortable playing this way and it is showing up in the scoreboard.

Willie Mitchell, Slava, have more points than Dustin Penner now.

Matt Greene is one point behind Penner.....

What the hell happend to this guy. Where is his pride ?

Also didn't want to start another thread, but this is Quick's third straight season of 30 wins.

he just has no confidence, In the 3rd period, A-Mart made a sick cross ice pass through the seam to Penner, right in his wheelhouse to 1 time into the empty net, yet for whatever reason he didnt have the confidence to do that, and instead stopped the puck first before firing a weak wrist shot

I guess it's because he appears very stiff and phony. I'd say MOST broadcasters and news anchors act like this. It's like someone running their nails down a chalk board to me. Just loosen up and talk like a normal human being.

That said, Patty has been with us for a while and has survived through some pretty tough times. As much as his style grates on me, I will say that I have warmed up to him a little. He just feels like a part of the Kings family now.

He just seems awkward and some players make the funniest faces when he's interviewing them. I don't have an actual issue with the guy, but he is basically a stooge for FSN. He's not a "Kings broadcaster". He's an FSN broadcaster.

I met with Patty before the game, he's not the most "warmest" guy in person, probably because he's somewhat shy around the public. So I can understand if people think he's a phony or he's stiff. Nevertheless, I think he's a good guy and he's good at what he does. Not everyone can be warm and inviting as Foxy, some people are bit more reserved in private.
