Things are looking good for Kansas with essentially a home court advantage in the next round and with Carolina's PG likely done.
I still wouldn't trust them though

Even with the win, I feel for Hummel. So many bad breaks in his career and he busted his *** today.

Another potential bracket buster as a ton of people had FSU in the Final Four

FSU blew it. I'm mostly likely out of all of my brackets now.
In my 5 brackets I had:
UK, Mizzou, FSU, UNC = UK>UNC
UK, Mich St., Cuse, KAN = MSU>KAN
UK, Mich St., FSU, UNC = UNC>MSU
UK, Mizzou, tOSU, KAN = UK>KAN
UK, Mizzou, Cuse, UNC = UK>UNC
The second one is still alive but I got buried in the 1st two rounds in it.

This game is freaking insane. Mental errors, good and bad luck, what a way to end the weekend.

This is a double whammy FSU loses plus it ruins my bracket(s).
Guess I'll just root for my co-2nd college teams UNC and Mich St. from here on out.
BTW, in my disgust I put on MLB Network just to get away from tourney talk only to see them talking about the Angels. And I haven't accepted that yet.

All 4 Ohio teams advance to the Sweet 16.
My final 4 teams are still intact. UK, MSU, tOSU, UNC.

RT @JamesonFleming Wow. According to @NationofOrange, Boeheim has never beaten a Big 10 team in the NCAA tournament.

Is there going to be a separate thread for the Sweet 16 matchups, or do we just continue discussion here?

I am so excited OU made the Sweet 16.
After Lehigh beat Duke, I will say nothing is impossible for OU, but let's be honest, anything beyond this is gravy. Hurt players or not, UNC is going to be heck of a tall task to overcome. But I'll still support the Bobcats to the end!

We'll start a new one later this week for actual Sweet 16 game discussion, and possibly make it for Elite Eight discussion as well.
We'll just ride this out until then.
But LITN has been starting the threads, so maybe he has a trick up his sleeve for us.

I really enjoyed the end of the Purdue/Kansas game, and not just because I attend Kansas. I like games that end with real-time action and aren't just foul and time-out fests. Here is hoping for more of the same in all the games next round!

One of the games is at 10:17 PM Thursday night
You can forget about me watching or following that game; not staying up past 11 pm for a game

Win a few games and you become cocky as ****.
/NC State fans
They may very well win the game, but don't embarrass yourself with statements like that.

Apologies then. You wouldn't have been the first one I've come across to be that cocky about beating Kansas though. It's definitely doable as Purdue proved, but arrogance is an entirely different thing.
