Ok, but just stop giving the deadlines. It's annoying. And what's the point?
Maybe he has made his decision and let Murray know but it hasn't been made public yet? Not really too bothered by it either way, Teemu will be back as someone said.
IMO Teemu has already agreed on coming back. He will probably wait for all the FA signings and then negotiate a cap that won't affect the team too much, or he will be given a big payday just to make the cap at all. Fans won't object to Teemu being given 5 mill or something like that.
MTV3 interviewed Teemu today in the annual Bermuda tennis tournament. It seems very good that he will continue his career. Teemu said that the decision to continue has already been made, he enjoys training and he's recovering from a knee arthroscopy. He thinks that the team looks good now that it has gotten bigger and tougher, and that the team should have done better last season with the lineup they had. Teemu also says that he doesn't like big contracts like they Parise and Suter got and he's afraid of a lockout season. He's also sure that Mikael Granlund will have a good career in the NHL.
There's something funny about a guy who only signs one year contracts talking about the polar opposite decade long contracts. Especially when that guy is the one who deserves that type of contract.
