I'd rather McCoy sit and Diaz play... I want to get another look at Diaz he impressed me yesterday with the bat and glove, he made a few good plays with the glove and has great contact
Here's probably one of the most polarizing reasons I really hate Buck. A no-hitter is one of the most exciting things that can happen on the field and Buck just goes "meh". Oh my
Well I wouldnt be too excited if the team I played for and announce for just got no hit... When that happened I was happy for Verlander but I was pissed the Blue Jays got no hit

Buck usually gets excited at everything, so one thing isn't that bad.

At least he's not as bad as Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson with CSN White Sox. He is a huge disgrace.
Baseball is probably the worst homerism wise. Hockey has around 5 unbiased crews and basketball 3-4. In baseball, the only guys that are never really biased are the Tigers guys.
Gose is friggin explosive player.
He had at least 3 highlight plays in the game (Catch in first off McCann, triple of bloop and his diving catch off of Bourn). If he can even top out at a .260 ish hitter with decent on base skills hes going to be a problem.
d'Arnaud struggled at the plate like hes done all summer. I dont put much stock into that however because catchers have much more to learn and focus on in spring training then regular position players.
Hutchison looked a little timid and wasnt challenging hitters enough but his strikeout of Chipper Jones was very nice. With some maturity he should turn into a pretty solid pitcher, prolly something like a harder throwing Marcum type.
Deck on the other hand has no problem coming after hitters although his velocity isnt as good as Hutchisons. He seemed to have really good break on his pitchs but couldnt fool Uggla the second time around. Sure hes going to give up some HR's here and there but he should be a good workhorse type who gives you alot of innings and is pretty consistant.
McDade hit the ball hard twice. You can certainly see the type of power he has when he connects on a ball.
AJ Jimenez threw a laser beam to get one of the Braves attempting to steal 2nd
Snider struggled and the K's are still a pretty big issue.
I really like this Jonathan Diaz. He looks to be really solid in the field and has some decent contact skills.
Anyways not much of a game since it was basically there starting team vs our 2nd string team. Brandon Beachy is a BEAST and should be a pretty good #2/3 going forward. Gose was the best player on the field for the Jays and Im certainly excited to see him play again.
I don't think it is. Looking at the lineup, the only regulars that stuck out were Victorino, Rollins, and Pence (and Hamels on the mound)
not much different than the Jays lineup having Bautista, Lind, EE, and Escobar and Cecil. So for both teams it's like 33%-50% starters and 66%-50% reserves.

Gose just said Evan Crawford is the bet pitcher in the organization...
I know he's been really good, but best in the organization? Comeon. Must be his roomate or something lol.
Maybe best at what he does. He's not valuable as the starters because they can provide more innings but he seems to be a pretty good reliever with good stuff.
If the score display we get is what we'll have for the whole season, I'm not sure I'm going to like it. Lots of white/light grey makes it harder to see against the bright backdrop of the game from certain angles. Maybe it'll be different for home games where there isn't bright sun.
