Anyone else laugh at Healy? Leaf player gets pushed into the goalie - definitely goalie interference. Kessel gets interefered with - Kessel is the perpetrator. Ottawa played before they played the Leafs - suppose he'd point it out if it was reversed?

I'm honestly really worried that all this failure will get us nothing but an 8th-9th or so overall pick, which would suck. A 3rd overall pick is very, very often a franchise player, while an 8th-9th overall pick is very often a scrub/mediocre player. I'm tired of cheering for an endlessly bad-to-mediocre team.
While I'd like as high a pick as possible the team isn't about forfeit the next season. If they sort some important things out in the last games of the year I suppose that would be positive.

As much as I want a lottery pick... damn, it feels good to beat Ottawa.

I love the way our guys battled. Connolly blocking shots, Grabovski dropping the gloves against Neil, our Dmen were tough against guys around our net., we kept their scoring chances to a minimum...

Randy Carlyle hockey: I love it.

No?
Didn't find it brutal (tonight). Liked the limiting of quality opportunities and general safe play. I'd rather they iron that out first and sort out how to generate the offense later.

overall great game by leafs. defensively they were good.
kessel was awesome, as usual.
first line was good i thought
frattin cant handle a simple pass. rush going on. as it touches frattin's stick, its done just like that.
gardiner was great again.
phaneuf was good except for maybe 2 plays.
schenn quietly had a solid game.
gunner was okay, but there were some mistakes.
liles was really good.
good job by grabo to stick up for ashton.

simpson and healy were huge karlsson holmers today. overrating his defensive game big time.
IMO, gardiner can put up similer numbers as karlsson.
its just that gardiner actually wants to play and get better defensively,

conolley was good i thought. nice to see him get a goal. or should i say karlsson's goal.
when i heard it was karlsson. i said "HA HA". karlsson probably forgot where to score.

good going karlsson.
i beleaf, lets go for playoffs

I personally loved how he said the first goal was just unfortunate, Bishop was just unlucky, that will give their goa;ie coach something to works with, etc. Reimer falls down and its like yah he can't skate. I wonder what he would have siad if the first goal had went in on reimer like that but he is the oldr goalie right?

We beat Ottawa, Kessel scores, Phaneuf scores, Reimer comes within a few minutes of a shut-out, there were three fights.

What's not to like? Great game.

It is always a delight to watch the Leafs beat the Sens. What is even better is hearing the boos when Alfie touches the puck in his home arena.

Yeah a good draft pick would be good. But this feels sooo good, I can't be mad.

Healy has his supporters in this forum.

I don't know why his blantant hate of the Leafs is obvious. Maybe they aren't Leafs' fans?

How about the future of the franchise?

No playoffs, no blue chip prospect, no direction, etc etc

Stop being naive

I rarely or perhaps, have never posted anything about Healy. But I heard him closely tonight, and he was brutal.

One play: "Watch Bishop handle the puck behind the crease. Great communication with his defenseman.".. few minutes later... "Reimer needs to be better there. He needs to decide if he wants to play or not. Terrible miscommunication."... few minutes later, Karlsson scores own goal off Bishop.. "This is just blatant bad luck for the Sens."

I mean are you ****ing kidding me? He is doing an aweful job, considering that A) He isn't working for Sens and B) He is on national TV.

I am all for a colour guy that criticizes Leafs when they are bad, but at least be honest enough when they aren't.

Philly went scoreless with us, which usually never happens since they always dominate us

I love listening to the team1200's post game show, the emails are funny, the Leaf hate is funny.

The CBC crew just gushed over Karlsson, and saying that the Sens just need a break.
They never mentioned the Sens shutout streak against Reimer @ SBP. That was a long time, and nothing mentioned until, it was just 2 minutes to go.
