I can't believe some people think Clowe should face a suspension over that. Dumb, hell yeah, but suspendable?

Haha miss scuds. I dont know what the nhl should do, but they should do someting. If one of our guys did that, and got away with it, the main board would cease to exist.

Funny, just saw this article on ESPN:

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nhl/stor...mmunity-center

Devils Chairman Jeff Vanderbeek was slammed by the mayor of Newark for supposedly not living up to all of the promises that he made when the Devils were discussing moving to Newark.

Interesting tidbit in the article:

Quote:
Kinnard said Friday that he signed the letter at a time when the arena negotiations were at a critical stage and the city had already sunk about $100 million into the project. He said the Devils threatened to move to Kansas City if they didn't receive the concessions spelled out in the letter.
I guess the Pens aren't the only team that "almost moved to Kansas City." I will have to remember that the next time an angry Devils fan tries to rip us by saying our team almost moved to Kansas City.

I would have given him (Clowe) a minor penalty for delay of game. Anything more would be overboard.

The main board just wants everyone suspended for everything at this point. I believe they're trying to call it 'consistency'.

Clowe absolutely should have received a delay of game penalty, and it's absolutely embarrassing that four striped shirts on the ice missed it...but talking about suspending him over it is just idiotic.

Some good games on TV today: Hawks vs. Wings, Flyers vs. Guins, Caps vs. Rags, Kings vs. Sharks Part II (this one is gonna be pretty damn epic).

I'd rather see Nashville/Detroit than Nashville/Chicago.

Oilers fans call us out for "tanking" for Crosby, Malkin, Fleury, etc...i suppose you could say the same about them when they use that card? except ours were much better players. Timing is everything. They have finished last for what...4 years now? i'll definatly be using that card on them from now on.

...Datsyuk got a little too fancy and pushed it wide.
Kane scores 5-hole.
Hudler with a terrible attempt, just slapped it into Crawford's glove.
Sharp slaps it at Howard, off the glove.

Didn't understand why Chicago wanted that extra point so much. I'd much rather play Phoenix/LA/San Jose than Nashville.

Because hockey players aren't football/baseball players. They don't care who they face. They want to win and prove a point/

If the Capitals beat the Rangers, I'm going to be so pissed that we missed the chance to get the #1 seed by two points.
