I have officially bought tickets to the first two games. I was tempted to buy the pass, i just don't know if I can guarantee usage of it past the 1st round.
You pretty much paid for it by buying the two tickets. All you would have to do is make one more game. But I guess another $20 is a case of beer.

I bought the ends, so it'd take me two games to pay for a pass in terms of value. My work schedule doesn't really allow me to commit to stuff like this, I lucked out by being on vacation next week anyways and that let me attend more than one.
if they still let people buy them after the first two games I'd seriously consider buying a pass for just myself the rest of the way.
I don't usually buy tix to Oil Kings games, and I don't like buying things online, so can I go to the ticketmaster in west ed and get them there sometime this week?
I do know someone who has bought them through ticketmaster, so I believe you can, but you may want to phone first.
I am going with some friends, and neither of them wanted passes, so that sorta influenced my decision not to just outright get a pass for myself regardless of my schedule.
Anyways, should be a blast, i hope edmonton can at least bring themselves to fill the lower bowl for this.
the media attention is starting to ramp up...hopefully all you HFers are getting the word out, I'd be severely disappointed if they weren't able to at least get that lower bowl filled right up.
going with a bunch of youth from my practicum on saturday.
most of them it's their first games and its playoffs too. awesome.
If you're planning to catch a game I hope you show up either the day before or the day after Saturday. I'm afraid you won't get to see any action on Saturday.

There is no way it's not. During the last game vs Red Deer, even half of the gallery was filled up. A few sections in the upper bowl looked almost completely filled.
As for the jersey, I'm certainly showing up at around 6:00, maybe even a few minutes earlier. They're $120 at Jersey City, so this is an excellent opportunity to pick up one for free. It's like one of those giveaways they have in the southern states

yeah, you'd be crazy not to try and get a hold of a free one.
I would only be concerned about filling it up if there's still a lot of tickets available late Thursday. There's really no real excuse to miss playoff hockey in edmonton.
Hey gang I'm giving away 2 gold tickets to The Oil Kings first playoff game vs Kootenay tonight at the blind duck comedy night. Come check out an incredible show with a headliner who is on this season of Canada's got talent.
