I haven't seen all of these players play but the majority I have read scouting reports, etc. on them. Anywho, this is assuming that all players will report:
1. Sherbrooke- Daniel Audette
Great young talent, going to be a player to build around.
2. PEI- Alexis Pepin
Rocket add to their somewhat strong core of young players.
3. Cape Breton- Matthew Highmore
Kid should be able to play right away, and his game compliments his linemates as well.
4. Rouyn-Noranda- Loik Levielle
Good, young defenseman for an already young defense core.
5. Gatineau- Alexandre Carrier
Gatineau adds to an already young, exciting group of D.
6. Val d'Or (from DRU)- Raphael Maheux
Pair him with Murphy and you have a future stud D pairing. (Q stud that is.)
7. Baie Comeau- Cody Donaghey
Playing on an older defense should help Donaghey tremendously.
8. Saint John (from MON)- Kevin Bouchard
Kid has pro potential, and will be a great kickstart to their rebuild.
9. Val d'Or- Duncan MacIntyre
Good all around defenseman who should be one of the better defenseman out of the draft.
10. Baie Comeau (from AB)- Julien Bahl
The Baie adds another good young defenseman.
11. Saint John (from CHI)- Kameron Kielly
Kielly should excel in Saint John with the group of players that are leaving.
12. Rimouski- Mason MacDonald
Good young goaltender should bond well in with the Océanic.
13. Baie Comeau (from HAL)- Alex Gallant
Gallant has energy and a scoring prowess which could be exactly what the Drakkar need.
14. Val d'Or (from VIC)- Spencer Smallman
Smallman WILL help their powerplay as soon as he laces up for the Foreurs.
15. Halifax (from QUE)- Mark Trickett
Halifax needs a PP QB and he may just be their guy.
16. Blainville- Clark Bishop
Strong forward should fit in well with the experience of the Armada.
17. Blainville (from SHA)- Nicolas Hebert
Same as Bishop, will be a good core to build around. (Not that they're rebuilding)
18. Rouyn Noranda (from SJ)- Carl Neil
The Huskies go off the board a bit and take a gamble with Neil, who should do well with their already young core.

Interesting list. 50/50 split Quebec/Maritimes...is that the usual ratio?
I think Smallman and Neill won't be first rounders but there are always some surprises at the draft. Every teams list have players moving around from week to week. Guys that have been off the radar like Chevalier might be a surprise pick or an American player like Jack Eichel.
The CSR Combine will help show where the kids stand for the draft in June.

It would be nice to see Halifax acquire a D (PP at that) but I doubt we use that pick... Would rather trade that pick for an experienced D for next year's run... Or at least package in with someone for D..
How did SJ get two 1sts? They've been ridiculous that last 4 years, I thought their cupboards would be emptyz
...

Interesting list, but I agree that it is normally not a 50/50 split between Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Atlantic hockey has improve dramatically over the years but I don't think that many Quebec teams will be picking many Atlantic Canadians with their first picks.
As well you don't have Lucas Batt of NL, playing in Notre Dame? Was that a slip or do you not see him going in the first round?

Again, the players won't necessarily go to these teams it is just my opinion on where they get drafted. I think it will be a strong year for the maritime provinces too. As for Batt, I have him as a top three pick in the second round.

i've heard that MacIntyre is an exceptional student, and may want to go the school route.

some scouts have said it is a weak year for Quebec in the draft this year

Zach Moody and Nic Blanchard not ranked? Everyone besides the scouts say Blanchard is better but Moody is usually ranked pretty high, why isnt he ranked in the 1st round?

Well, his size is holding him back but he definetly has the offensive tools to be a scoring threat in this league (Blanchard). For Moody, I think he'll be an early second rounder.. Simply because he as good as the others in the first round and early second...

SOme folks on here say that either of those two boys are not first rounders. Maybe 2-3 rounders.
I like both players, good size and Blanchard is a shooter, quick hands. But a bit lazy. Moody is a hard worker with decent skill, however I question his hockey IQ. I would agree with 2 or 3 round picks.
Moody and Blanchard seem to be all over the place. But there are a few other 96 born players who probably wont get drafted this year but could maybe get drafted next year. Just wondering what you think of Grant Janes,Bradley Boone and Michael Pettet. All from the Valley Wildcats

I'd expect them both to be top 50 overall picks from what I've seen.

The above order I am assuming is for 1st round......does anyone know, or have a link to the order of team picks for first 3,4 or 5 rounds?
As a Sea Dogs season ticket holder, I would be elated if Mike Kelly is able to draft Keven Bouchard at 8 and either Kielly or Alex Gallant at 11. That would really help kick start Saint John's rebuild/reload.
