This team has faced injuries all year...so many of them. This is not new but it has to be hard...rolled 4 D and really 2 F lines as well all OT....that's so tough.
On March 16th, I thought this team would have run roughshot over Mississauga, beat Ottawa and given Niagara a run. The onslaught of injuries - Pearson, Hall, Beyers, Sutch, O'Connor now Yuill...that would be the top lineup for a bunch of teams in this league - changes things a little. It's been an awesome ride so far and I'm really enjoying it. Ottawa seems daunting...but our guys showed they can prevail today. Anytime a team loses a game like that in double OT at home it has to take the wind out of their sails. Hopefully we get somebody back for Tuesday night. Maybe even a couple. I was at that game in Ottawa back in the fall when Telegin tied it with a second to go and then Pearson won it in overtime...you never know what's going to happen till the final buzzer...
P.S. I hope Ekblad/McNeill, Buonomo/Lepkowski got some rest on that bus ride. They could be logging huge minutes again on Tuesday night...
Ottawa had last change and matched up the lines they wanted. Both teams played 3 lines consistently through 3rd period and both OT's. Barrie used 4 D and they played well!
Back in Barrie DH will have last change and will be able to get his match ups. This is looking to be a long one!
Thought that the 67's would've come out flying for the kill tonight, but no.
Erlich showed how to play-make and work even harder when you're absent of so many of your top players. He set the example for others to pull up their socks & "give it".
Big vocal "boooo's" by Colts fans first on the late-game (yet once again) brain-cramp of Ezekiel for yet another needless penalty, and secondly for the brain-cramp of the coach for having #'s 16 & 19 out there so late & twice on the ice with under 3 to go, and with a 3 goal lead with so many key players already out.
Thursday will definitely be one of those proverbial pivotal games. The winner of that game will probably take the series.
Great hockey so far, regardless of the outcomes. It's been a treat & joy to watch.
I am glad the crowd realised the abscent-mindedness that was occurring putting them out. Don't expect much. As far as lineup changes go for thurs. It will be key to this series, I agree. Looks like all roads lead to Niagara like we all knew it would.

Niagara is a juggernaught... We'll need some guys back to give them a run...
I do, indeed....he will not be in the lineup tomorrow night....I will state what is out there in the press; I believe dale said he has an upper body injury. Barrie examiner has reported a concussion....deduce what you will
What an effort by the boys tonight. SO MUCH HEART....Buonomo, McNeill, Lepkowski, Ekblad are to be commended...rolling 4 is so impressive. They look dead tired and still get it done. Safe travels to the boys tonight as they for Kingston for the night.
Ekblad played his best game as a colt, hands down.

very correct,Colts doing a great job so far, overcoming adversity, hope they keep it up
We need the days off...so the boys can go home for a bit and see their families and take a mental break....the grind is insane right now...it's imperritive that they get it tonight.

If they win tonight would they have a few days off before the next round or would it be right back at it like the last round?
