During one of the TV timeouts in the first period Getzlaf was talking to both referees about the non-call when he was tripped for about a full minute. Nobody came over from the Preds bench the entire time. I said to the guy who sits next to us - when does a team EVER let the opposing captain talk to the officials for an extended time alone for an extended time? When they know it absolutely doesn't matter, that's when.
I was sorts kidding but good lord that was a pathetic excuse for Impartial officiating. I won't even dignify it by pretending it was competent.
BB has the team playing motivated and with a decent record. He's not getting canned this year. He needs to get rid of whoever is running the PP however.

Motivated? This team is a joke and hes dressing the softest lineup we have ever had. Yes fighting isnt everything but how about hitting and emotion. I checked the lineup and already knew not to watch the game. There is zero entertainment value even when they are winning im ready to get some zzzzzzz's

Ok, well I'm paying money to sit here and watch the games and the style of play is far more energized as far as the actual hockey is concerned. It's be nice to see some abrasiveness but Parros on the 4th line right now just means DSP gets less ice time, and - HE ISN'T ABRASIVE ANY MORE.
And seriously I have no idea what game you people are watching. Big checks were thrown by Pelley, DSP and Getzlaf, they were crashing the crease, and this game was far more exciting to watch than the usual Nashville snore you to death game. To each their own.

Next years third line should be some combination of DSP and a physical third line center. SIGN STOLL?

Ive payed for plenty of games as well in previous seasons this year im not spending a cent
The hitting is far and few and with no purpose, DSP should not be on the 4th line and should have no impact on Parros playing, and now even Beleskey gets scratched as if we are not soft enough. Nashville did not even take this game seriously and did not even bother with there defensive style because they knew the team they are playing is a joke. Ive said this when he was hired BB refuses to coach a physical hard hitting style and prefers finesse and skill (IE Detroit hockey)
