The amount of time I've spent explaining how Shattenkirk's point totals and +/- are not indicative of his play (easy comp, basically given the Sedin-treatment for defensemen, insanely high PDO) and STL fans just dig in their feet and won't budge an inch. I know his stats by heart, I watch a lot of STL games, and I just have to laugh when I see STL fans claim he's their #2. He gets tons of PP time, no PK time, bottom pairing EV minutes (TOI, Comp, zone starts)).

Oh, so you just hate how people talk about him. I thought you hated Shattenkirk the person, just like how any sane person would hate Ribeiro.
I don't think there's counseling for "irrational hatred toward a hockey player you've never met", but I'm still looking.

I think I've just projected my hatred for STL fans onto him personally. Because I've liked the Blues for a while now, I just can't stand Blues fans. The best is when they say that he's almost as good as Pietrangelo, when Pietrangelo is in another universe fro Shattenkirk.
