Been wondering that a while, just now remembered to ask.
totally legal so long as you don't hold or elbow or anything like that.

A guy went wide through a lame duck Sarge check in the first. It looked really bad, but Nasty followed him and finally nailed him proper as the whistle blew.

I like how Ovi laughed when Locker said "you put that one through the defensemen, didn't you"

Yep I've seen him take at least 4 aggressive little shots like that. I'll take it.

I start to hate the Caps. Just when he was looking forward to face Datsyuk in a game...
Maybe Kuznetsov is right to not even embark on a sinking ship.

It's not like Hunter is all that likely to be back next year though.

GMGM said he would, so this assumes McPhee finally gets shown the door.

GMGM says a lot of things, and even that assumes Hunter wants to come back. I'll believe it when I see it, that's all.

Hunter can adjust and grow as a coach at this level. Let's see what happens the rest of this year and at the start of next year before writing him off as a failure.

Best case scenario: Stanley Cup win and then McPhee and Hunter retire as they have nothing left to prove.

But I think McPhee is still there. And this man did nothing to get a center to WSH and is hoping to make Kuznetsov one...
The Caps are very likely to miss the playoffs and I'm looking forward to see Ovechkin, Semin and Orlov in Stockholm, but I don't think this is what the guys figured before the season.

In fact, he nailed the guy so hard, he knocked over a capital as well. Watch for it on the washed out goal replay. Yep took out 2 guys - possibly first time ever. Damn.
