I get that he didn't look golden here, don't know why we didn't even tender him.
Probably because he was shaping up to be a bottom 6 guy who could throw hits and score, so we let him walk.

I'd expect him to know how Lucic fights by now and know how to defend himself a bit better. I guess he's just that far from being a match, he can't even defend.

Greed can do that to you. Make you take the dumber decision.

Tendering him would have cost more than what he eventually signed for; just saying

Probably would have used a spot that could've been better filled.
It's hard to believe now that injury and tank trades have decimated the club, but winger depth was Montreal's strong suit at the start of the season. Pacioretty-Cole-Cammalleri-Gionta-Kostitsyn-Moen-Darche-White, and that's without moving any centers. Not terribly much room for a Pouliot in that.

No. I live in Toronto and this has been pretty much the best thing ever.

Sabres should win their game, so the tank is in trouble.

Minny is winning, though. Whether they can hang on against the nucks is another thing...

As bad as we suck, there is no way we are bad as the Leafs. At least we keep the games close!

How does Burke keep his job once they miss the playoffs again? They were close before firing Wilson, and have completely bottomed out under Carlyle.

Burke should be ashamed of himself.

He's a loud mouth lawyer who likes to hear himself talk.
What's even better is Cherry owning Burke every Saturday. Cherry is a tool normally, though.

They've just shown a graphic during the Canucks-Wild game on Sportsnet and they listed Mark Recchi as "Dr Mark Recchi"

Lucic sure loves to take on non fighters. I anxiously wait for the day he'll get his ass handed to him. The worst is that he seems like a genuinely good guy outside of the rink. Inside the rink, he's a POS.

Wow... Komisarek really cannot beat Lucic. He just should stop trying. I mean he has probably waited years for this and that was the best he could do?
