I as kind of hoping to see Manning play again tonight. I've been impressed with every game he has played with the big club. I would put his overall skill level ahead of Lilja, but of course, we will play the slow oldster ahead of him. Lilja will block a couple of shots, but that's about it.

If he did not overplay Lilja why are you impressed?

Dude she is obnoxious...after Panotch she is my next least favorite beat reporter covering the Flyers.

Her ego is unmatched. She asks for participation from twitter ppl then always chimes in as though she knows more or has every original idea that happened to hockey. Not to mention her constantly mentioning things along the lines of guys being into her.

Really? Has she seen the other teams' female reporters?...big thumbs down to CSN Philly folks who write about the team. It's all one-sided and unoriginal, sports journalism at its weakest.

Not sure what you are getting at.

I mostly dislike the way she and Tim Panotch cover the Flyers. They both constantly focus on the same thing...beating the dead horse.

From there, my dislike for her allows me to point out the fact that along with this poor coverage, her ego about the way she looks is annoying - when really, she isn't the hottest thing to hit hockey news.

off topic, but the kraken is from Norse mythology, yet somehow gets associated with Greek because of those dumb movies.

Kubina and Lilja, you can dump the puck in the corner on these guys, and Shelley would beat them to it

The Norse always get a bad rep, never credited for anything... depicted as heathens but had their own form of parliament and even let women vote... something no-one else cottoned onto for 800 years after the vikings demise, went as far as western mongolia according to some and were in india as well as north america! Yet they are generally just known as brutes who ***** and pillaged.

Apparently, Clemmensen is playing tonight for Florida. Seems there was/is confusion earlier regarding that.

Nice to see some players back. We could use the depth this time of year.

As always, thanks for the awesome GDT MSE.
