this song is an embarrassment to the organization, fan base, and greater STL area. it reflects very poorly on all of us, and just reinforces to the rest of the league the (incorrect) belief that the blues are a bush league organization. i'm not sure what the team is thinking on this one. a playoff song isn't necessary and teams that have "been there before" don't usually do things like this.
This song makes every artistic bone of my body hurt. Its cool to incorporate music into a franchise named after music but wow is that song bad.
On the bright side, a couple of friends of mine and I are thinking about making a punk rock band for supporting the Blues, like The Hanson Brothers and The Hextalls. Maybe you'll see us doing something like this in a season or two. Anybody know a decent drummer in their early-to-mid-twenties that might be interested?
I really don't care for the song. Its got no soul, which is my biggest gripe about mainstream music these days...something that completely contradicts the Blues. I could go on a rant about how little ingenuity exists in that song and the creativity that is lacking, but I leave it at that for now.
