Zedd and Porter were out of control.. in a great way.. Non-stop mixing and dancing for over 2 1/2 hours.. Only downfall was how incredibly packed the place was.. By mid-set, my shirt was drenched and stuck to me

Black Festival was pretty good. Carl Craig, Derrick Carter, and Antonio Piacquadio were awesome.. Just not a fan of Jamie Jones.. He's way too mellow for me

Left shortly after Jones came on and went to Pacha for Victor Calderone and Nicole Moudaber.. Fantastic decision.. They were great.

Sensation coming up in a couple weeks.. Should be an incredible experience.. Anyone else going?

Early-bird Electric Zoo tickets went on sale today.. Up over $100 from last year.. No way I'm going...

Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, tINI, and Ean Golden for $20 in November?! Yes, please

Yeah, Lipstick & Lace is also a great track! More clubfriendly than the two others!

Listened to Northern Exposure yesterday for the first time in a while. It never ceases to amaze me just how well put together it is.

Been getting back into hardstyle lately

also :

Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso and Otto Knows' Mixed Up show at Nassau Coliseum has been shut down after several concert goers passed out.

There is reportedly more than 40 ambulances on scene.

I was at this and it was absolutely insane. I blame it 1) On the venue for having no preparation, the security guards were very limited and many there were old fat men that could barely move around, and 2) the promoters for making it basically an all ages show even though it was listed as 16+. Getting my money back.

I rushed to pier 94 from there, what a great show. Otto Knows was phenomenal, loved his set.

Love it.

Big fan of the shogun remix which a lot of people seem to be playing :

Looks like 3 people died last night at a Steve Aoki show

Steve Aoki

After my performance last night at Thriller Music Park at the Madrid Arena in Spain, I was devastated to hear that three people had died during a crowd rush at one of the exits. The safety of my fans has always been my top priority and had I known that there was any distress putting people in jeopardy within the venue I would have ended my show immediately. My show in Bilbao, Spain tonight will be cancelled out of respect for those who lost their lives and those who are injured. I would like to express my deepest condolences and heart felt prayers to the families and loved ones during this difficult time.

House music couldn't ask for worse press from the past couple weeks.

I don't get people with these shows, turning it from electric atmosphere's to moshy metal like shows. Losing it's identity in some cases i guess.

That's cause Steve Aoki is not an actual "DJ Show" in fact I don't consider his show a "Rave"type show. Most shows people rave out and it is great, but Aoki has his show where things like moshing and crowd surfing are normal... hell he doesn't DJ 3/4 of the time and spends the whole time jumping off the stage and doing dumb ****... I have seen him twice ( At festival type events) and it kills me inside because I know he is the reason for this shift away from the music to a shift in being retarded.... Used to be about the music and the DJ ( And the production like the lights), but now a lot of DJ's are becoming entertainers and not actually DJing at all anymore.

I don't know... Maybe I am lame haha? I just think EDM is about the music and having a good time with friends.... Not being a retard.... If I wanted to be a retard I would go to a top 40 club.
